I am currenfly farming Forsaken Hubs with a Naga, using this fitting :
http://i.imgur.com/tUbwY7P.jpg
With ~800 DPS, I make ~16M per bounty tick, but the thing that bothers me is I have to warop out 2-3 times per anomaly to reload my shield, because I don't kill destroyers fast enough, and my shield skills are not that good.
I was thinking about 2 ways to improve my isk per hour : clear anomalies faster & tank better.
Which makes me think about grabbing a battleship, as I am currently focusing on T2 hybrid turrets, I think my best choice would be a Gallente Battleship, but when I look at Kronos & Vindicator bonus, I'm not sure my DPS would increase that much.
This is why I need your input here, is it worth it to drop my Naga and get a Kronos/Vindi/Megathron/Hyperion ? Would I make better ISK?
Thanks |

If with a BS you don't have to warp out anymore I would definately go for that BS. |

your fit doesn't match...no MW in fittings.
Talos gets the 25M^3 for drones that love to get destroyers.
But it's the problem with the Tier 3 ships...plenty of Gank and short on tank.
Kronos and Vindi would work great...but you would be a gank Target for sure. Mega or Hyperion will let you have similar DPS but with lots more tank. Less warps = more ISK per tick. |

Fit better hardeners. Deadspace ones aren't that pricey. Aside from that I suspect skills or tactics being the issue. |

Something more like this will get you moving through them a little faster:
Quote:[Naga, gurista ratting] Magnetic Field Stabilizer II Magnetic Field Stabilizer II Magnetic Field Stabilizer II

Medium Hybrid Collision Accelerator II Medium Core Defense Field Purger I Medium Core Defense Field Purger I
Go for T2 blasters when you can, and BC V if you don't have it already. It makes a big difference.
Also, there are no destroyers in a Guristas Forsaken Hub....? thhief ghabmoef |

try rails and shoot at range? Less dps but you won't have to warp out. |

You have a lot of mods for resist, which suffer from stacking penalties and only 1 for (passive) shield regen. Since you didn't go full T2, I assume low(ish) SP. Active Shield tanking is out of the question due to low cap, but 3 Med Core Defense Shield Purger rigs should give you a nice passive shield tank. High EHP is good for surviving alpha strikes, but for mission running you should focus more on high EHP/s for sustaining damage.
You can improve the tank more by replacing the 3rd (stack penalized) MagStab by a (non stack penalized) Damage Control 2
Against Guristas and missiles in general you can't hide in the fall off of weapons, so sprinting to get out of range with a MWD (or MJD) is not going to work, but damage reduction by moving continuously does. So replace the MWD by an afterburner. You should be (almost) cap stable and run the AB permanently. Train Controled bursts, Energy Management and Energy System Operations if you aren't
Of course going BS gives you more tank, but why go Gallente and T2 or pirate when you can just size up and take the big brother of the Naga, namely the Rokh? |

Downgrade it to suit your tastes. You don't need the pimp AB but it helps.
In your fit you are using a MWD, you don't need it for forsakens, just warp to zero and get blasting.
It don't track to hot but that is alleviated by using your keep at range or even sitting still. The dumb rats fly radially away from you if you are sitting at the centre of the 3 rocks.
For the naga to shine it needs T2 guns and void. |

Just read that forsakens will get warp scrambling frigs in the next expansion which writes off the naga as a hub ratter completely. |

With T1 meta 4 guns and standard mag stabs and faction ammo I do 1032 dps on the in game fit screen. So I would suggest getting your skills up. My fit is slightly different to yours, but it shouldn't matter too much, I have a collision rig and 2 extenders, 1x lse, 2 x kinetic def fields, 1 x 10mn ab, 1 x invuln and a tracking comp.. never have to warp out and run a forsaken hub in under 20mins, that's round 32 mil per tick... corpie I was with with T2 blasters and implants, T2 rigs, faction mags was hitting 42 mil per tick...
@Jack... stick to wh's Oh PLEASE!!! CCP Fozzie Can I haz a Navy moa....... |

Thanks for the input everyone, I finally switched to faction hardeners (2 kinetic & 1 thermal), even if I had to invest some money in it, it really pays off well.
I also put 3 shield regeneration rigs, which makes it really, really easier.
My ISK per hour increased a bit and I don't have to warp out anymore, I think the next big step will be when I reached the T2 weapons & ammo.
Thanks again. |

I am no ratting expert and only occasionally manage to top 30m ticks in my mach when I do go out, but the experts around me get mid-30s in machariel and up to mid-50s in vindicators. ThatGÇÖs decent skill players using tech-2 weapons GǪ autocannons and blasters respectively GǪ and some pretty blinged-out ships. ATM FHs are the best isk-per-time amongst them all, mainly because of the absence of frigates, but it appears that that is gonna change with the next expansion coming. It will be interesting to see how those changes playout and where the new best income-per-time will settle. I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. Our pirate epic arc completion packages really are very good: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=12973&find=unread |
