Are you a miner?
Are you a new player who wants to be part of mining ops and job opportunities?
Do you want people to talk to while you mine?
You have mining questions?
Want to enter mining competitions and join mining ops?
Are you a corp looking to hire or recruit miners?
If so, come to the MINER channel in EVE. We eat, sleep and breathe mining. The channel is growing daily and we would like more people to join in. I have been in the channel for a week now and seen people get together for mining ops, miners getting temporary mining jobs and people who got recruited into a corp for mining in this channel.
Just have the MINER channel active in your text bar, that way, whenever you are mining, you can just stop on by and say hi.

Not to sound rude, but the nay-sayers are getting tiresome.
Let me spell it out for you:
This channel is mainly for people to chat about all that concerns mining. This channel is for people to get recruited for corps. This channel is for like-minded players (miners) to ask questions about mining.
If you need me to go into more detail about the core reason I created this channel, I can cut-and-paste the above statement again so all you nay-sayers can get it through your head what this channel is REALLY for.

well if it is just to chat and talk about mining I don't see how it could attract ore thieves... if you are silly enough to talk about where you are doing your jetcan mining then sure hehe...
I usually batter my poor corp with a ton of mining questions, so maybe this is a good place to ask some of them :)

Thanks for your negative opinion. Appreciate it.
Firstly, If you search before typing the above statement, you would see the first post about this channel that had a lot of negativity in it for no reason.
Secondly, I have never seen you in the channel, yet you take the time to post in my thread? Have you seen the people like Omber who come in our channel saying it will never work and asteroids deserve to live yadda yadda yadda?
I hope I have answered your question. If you need help searching for the previous post, or need a tutorial on how to get into the MINER channel, I will be more then happy to show you.

I also think this is a good channel for people who want to look for miners to help, like to help keep rats off their backs.
