Thinking about it the other day, we have races like amarr who suffer from basicly no mids and so spend what the do have on propulsion and so on. But if we had webbers in the high slots they could be as effective as other races, more importantly it being in a high slot would reduce the turrets the target faces making people more incline to have to work as teams and reducing uber 1337 solo tacklers etc on gates.

I think they should be hi-slot modules

Webbers does definitely belong in the high slot.

If you think about it, the amount of energy required to remotely project a field that slows an object down would be immense. I vote high-slot. - Ztone |

Vote hi slot
its an attack weapon that "steals" your speed, its basically IMHO a speed neutralizer much like an energy neutralizer. Also its a PROJECTED field, there are no other non high slot projected field modules IIRC other than the webbifier, and no i dont mean targeting mods, they while projecting a search field are definitely NOT of the high energy output a webbifier would be. TotensBurntCorpse Likes EVE, Starfleet Command Series, Earth & Beyond, Anything Battlefield, MOHAA, Call of Duty.

Make MWD a high slot module too while you're at it .

Ok, so that's Webbers, MWD/AB, and I'm guessing you also want Warp Scramblers added to the hi slots too? If you did that then what would u fit in a pvp AF/Inty?
Would u treat Warp Scramblers different to webber?
If you want more med slots then train a different race of ships, you don't have to stick with Amarr you know. ;-)

MWD are in fact using tons of energy, but its being re-routed. They hack into the and drain cap and shields, so there is already a energy penalty.
Warp Scramblers could be a high slot module, but I can see it be kept mid-slot. It is much closer to an EW module in that it doenst hold the ship out of warp, it just emits an interfernce wave to disrupt the electronic operation of the targeted warp core. Its like a cell phone near a monitor, it doesnt move the monitor, it just causes enough interfernece to prevent proper operation.

hm.. i thought about this long time ago, too. why not make a new module for highslot? those who prefer there dmg can still use the normal webbers. but if you want to use real EW, use the highslot webbingfield emitter. this emitter uses as much energy as a gun(or even a little more), and they are also shipsize based. when you activate it, all ships in your range are webbed. e.g. a frig web emitter has a range of 5km, cruiser 10 and bs 15 or 20
this could also work with warpdisruptor, but the cap use must be immense, so you can just use it in short periot. for long periods we already have the warp bubbles
