Why don't the empires go to war with each other?
Wouldn't that be more fun, if you wanted to trade with the Amarr for example as another race you might be as welcome as moo in a 1.0 system!

The whole idea on how they have set piracy, different races, and PvP in Eve is wrong. Pirates become griefers because they are a total allienated part in Eve so carebears whine, while we have 4 different races and Empire controlled regions doing absolutelly nothing and serving as only a cosmetic evidence. Pirates should have been set up being friendly to their own races or their specific subrace from where someone should acquire skills to become a pirate allowing them to penetrate deeper in enemy empire space, doing war with all the others, and thus when returning to have a natural immunity in their home systems or some particullar home systems from where they originated, and of course another ability to go illegal all the way escaping in the farthest 0.0 regions but it would require skills too. Empire players could use strategy (skill/proffesion) and not the special pirating skills if they wanted to enter hostile Empires by making war but they could keep what they conquered while pirates could not, while corporations could war at each other as they pleased. PvP would be great improved by these.
We could have constant PvP in the bordering regions and throughout the friendly Empire universe along with the ultrq rich 0.0 regions, simple and efficient.
Sometimes I get the notion that Eve never ment to be out on the Market like it is, if they have been forced to release this game half made (and I dont mean only the bugs), after all that have been said and done I cannot see how they could still aply the old intented features to make it complete and keep the long playing players happy too, nobody would be happy if features get completely redesigned and others wiped out, that is IF they ever intented to apply them. I just see a dead end, maybe some other programmer can take all this in to consideration in building the next Elite or Eve online, though Eve was a great experiment.

Well I believe initialy that was the plan to be anyway. That you needed a very good Amarr standing to be there.
Don't know why this is not in... But I think the devs got more important things to fix and implement first. --- soonÖ |

For example pirates like Setec (who lets say is Amarr for this example) could be privateers for their own race, possibly welcomed back as a heroes in low sec Amarr empire space whilst perhaps being hunted for show in high sec space. Provided he only kill non Amarr.
However if he attacked Amarr pilots and corps he would be an outcast. ----- Janus "I'm not a stripper, I'm a miner." |

I could imagine the hatred for "the other race" for example when some pirates with their special abilities destroy someones ships because he is from a different empire and thus the ussual target, he could immediately charge against everyone from their race, PvPx5!

Just goes to show that 30 people(CCP) can only think of so much stuff for their game. Takes the players(25k people) to come up with stuff that really makes the game go, it seems.
Awesome ideas..

Actually, if you read the "Events" page, I think you can see a war is coming... The storyline is supposed to start next month right?

hehe bogus!
I was travelling aimlessly through space the other day in my nails-ass Thorax, when I happened to stumble across a tiny little backwater system. I nailed some NPC pirates in the roid belts for a couple of hours and then chose a random station (there were many in the system) to dock at and effect some recycling of pirate loot. For some reason, I clicked on the ships hanger and lo and Behold, there sat my Velator!! How weird is that?! I hadn't seen it for 2 months! So I immediately jumped into it and took it for a drive.
It was ****.
I might start up a corp comprised soley of players in their newb ships. Then I'll declare war on everyone. hehe, lock and load basic miner... -------------------------------------------- Dead
