Ladies and Gentlemen,
I represent a small corporation which has in recent days considered establishing an industrial presence in Pure Blind. I will not reveal the details of our business plan, suffice it to say we see combat as a risk, not an opportunitiy in our goals.
For this reason the standards of both RAZOR and JF have appeal to us. We have no interest in treating an alliance as anything other than customers, thus the claims of 'peace towards neutrals' by these two distinguished groups, who have both left a bold mark on the region, are enticing. We believe that establishing a "free and open Pure Blind" might very well be the first steps towards creating the first truly independent regional market in 0.0. The opportunities for all members of the regional community are staggering. An independent and free market means an independent and free region, one which brings reward to all involved, whether they seek fortune, glory or freedom.
But this cannot happen if the corporations which are necessary to establish the region are caught in your crossfire.
I understand there is a long, frustrating history between both sides of this debate. But the Intaki have a saying, "Today's past is tomorrow's distant past, and today's future is tomorrow's past".
There are common goals between Jericho Fraction and RAZOR, from what I can establish. Both wish a "free and open" Pure Blind, though they debate what that actually means. But this point of reference could be the beginning for toleration of one another, a unity of shared vision.
I do not see that here. And that concerns me, because strife between two established and influential corporations in Pure Blind is the one thing that is most likely to destroy any dream of a free Pure Blind. You both seem willing to risk this, because it has been the status quo for so long, but this strife will ultimately lead to the failure, not of your corporations, but of your dreams.
RAZOR seems to be most interested in the removal of those pilots who would hunt their fellow capsuleers in PB. Is this so wrong? If not them, who? CONCORD? What a disaster that would be. But it must be done, for you can not establish a farm if the locusts have already siezed the ground. Does JF fall into this category? Do they harm anyone who does not attack them? Do they hunt the industrialist pilot? Yes? Then they are tyrants without countries. But if the answer is no, live in peace with them, and take on the raider.
JF wants to bring its anti-tyrannical message to the pilots of 0.0, to establish a community of free-pilots. Is a free Pure Blind not the place to do so? Does RAZOR demand tribute or loyalty from those who would make their home in Pure Blind, peacefully? Yes? Then they are tyrants and liars. But if the answer is no, fight their meme, but not them.
Cease the accusations. End the distrust. Work together, bring peace to Pure Blind, and through good deeds humiliate those who call Empire great.
I would have the pod pilots establish Pure Blind as a civilization as great as any that has arisen under CONCORD. And then I would make it greater, so as to leave the empires in our wake. But I will not invest my time, my resources nor my life in this pursuit if this ancient rivalry threatens to engulf a land of promise in the broken sorrows of war.
------ I generally assume the following: 1. 95% of Empire Carebears don't get 0.0 PVPers. 2. 95% of 0.0 PVPers don't get Empire Carebears. 3. 100% of Ore Thieves steal just to upset the Miners. |
