I am loyal both to Intaki and the Federation, however over the last few weeks with the elections looming, I have seen little evidence that these candidates have concrete policies that will help the federation prosper.
Fellow Intaki Citizens have raised concerns over the lack of security within Intaki Space, and urge policy to be established to employ more security forces.
Currently the elections have been absorbed by propoganda and poor marketing as if they were trying to sell Quafe. I have always put my trust in the federation, however my trust is shaken by the comittment of the new canditates to Gallente Interests.
I call for each candidate to publish an agenda of how they intend to improve and rule the federation, then and only then can I make an informed judgement on where their interests lie.
What say you?

I say fat chance getting their attention. The closest we came to hearing from the candidates was from Mr. Mentally Blank himself.

Unfortunately for the people of the Gallente Federation, this sort of moribund fiasco is to be expected from a democracy.

*Studies topic, then shrugs and moves on to a more interesting one* Not after my parting shot. Minmatar- No real leader that we hear of. Caldari- Corporations. (yawn) Amarr- Evil empire. (that's new) Gallente- Bureaucratic capitalists. (need I say more) The truth is, ladies and gentlemen, we all suck.

Perhaps it is time to restart your campaign, Kaleigh.
I am going to die of old age before the elections are over!

My interest in the Federation died along with my drive for politics. Regardless of which crony buys his way into power the end result will be the same; the people will have to fend for themselves in ever growing bureaucratic quagmire. I've probably said too much already. Part of my settlement with the government is keeping my mouth shut, and that's what I intend to do.

Karin Midular. A weak willed bureuacrat who spends her time appeasing the Amarr instead of working to free our enslaved brethren. She's been mercifully quiet of late which means she hasn't made any recent public concessions to the slavers.

We're sitting fine over here with our mini-empire-cult even if our leader did decide to take us from the best action too soon. I trust in Omir's actions and believe we'll come out better than any of your current "governments". Hell, I'd bet he'd do a better job in Doriam's vacant position!
Omir for emperor?! It's got a ring to it... ~~~~~

The thing is Shuo Ban that JF have always said that. The thing is although our governments "suck" as some say, the critics themselves have made little progress. If anything they have gone backwards.
Although we are not progressing we are stable and I'd rather be stable then going backwards. Atleast if anything the people of Empire (That being Minmatar Republic, Gallente Federation, Amarr Empire, Caldari State) have more strength and resolution in equal quantities, we may not have had drastic changes here.
But! Atleast within our own communities we can have some reconciliation in the fact that the revolution is coming. We can all feel it. And whatever that brings it's going to be new. ---

Here is a Revolutionary Idea! Instead of politicians telling us how they will rule the people, How about for once in the Federations miserable history the people tell them how to rule. Time and time again the people get bombarded with nothing more than irrelevant advertising from corporate sponsored candidates, where the majority of people dont have a clue in hell as to what the candidates they vote for stand for. It is time for the people of the Caldari State, Gallente Federation, Amarr Empire as well as the Khanid Kingdon and the Minmitar Puppet nation of Gallente to flex there power. Make your statement to the politicians that is us who vote, What can you do for the people, what can you do to help us, what will you do to uphold the laws and all the stuff that never seems to be brought up in Gallente or any other elections .
The people indeed have the power, yet in a federation of lies and deciets they blind them with corporate propaganda and a false sense of freedom. before you attack me verbally, think about what I have said.

All, "the people" want is to come home from work, sit back and watch holoreels, without ever having to worry about much or make any significant ethical decisions.
"The people" do not want to know truths, just convenient lies and will vote for the person who can keep them as detached about any real problems as possible.
"The people" mean nothing, only "the individual" matters. Our lives are what we make of them. Complaining or expecting others to fix things or empathise with our problems is a waste of time that only perpetuates the situation.

Oh that's rich. Yeah, god is the answer. At least politicians have to pretend to do something.

Normally I would make some comment about the inefficiency of the Gallente system. Think they have made the comment about themselves already though, far more eloquently than I ever could.

Yay! Another one! First the religious drone and now the corporate drone!
At least Gallente are encouraged to think for themselves, should they find the motivation to do so.
Yes, follow the line and shut up may be more "efficient", but that does not mean it is better. Quite the opposite.

I must say that really tickled my funny bone.
I wouldn't say everyone sucks, but I would say they are all tied up in their own little games; especially the federation . Besides, to live in the empires to to be limited in what you can do. It is much better to spread your wings and 'fly free' in the outer regions where you are at least able to shoot those who would oppress you and make a mockery of freedom.

Well games are good, they make life fun
I do love the whole "fly free" thing and I definitely think frontier space should be free for all to use and enjoy, but I also like to be able to lie down on a sunny beach and enjoy my drink and the company of a beautiful lady without worrying about people shooting at me.
So it's not necessarily a choice between freedom in the frontier or limitation in the empires. I'll take both

Ah yes, if there's one place where the Federation has sold me it's definitely the women and the booze.
Of course, ultimately it doesn't matter who's in charge or what their platform is. All that really matters is who's collecting your taxes and how hard they squeeze to do it.

Yes, as an individualist, I agree with that. Of course, given that a good chunk of my income comes from Gallente governmant agencies and bounties I can't really complain about taxes, can I?
