Exactly my friend.why do they open servers when th eingame population count goes beyond 1000....well becuase server management can be a Real B**** ive done it for microsoft as a volunteer.so i know..anyway this game server network seems pretty similar - 1 mainframe login/authenticate server lots of Subservers for systems...great way of managing servers but lots of problems too..seen it done the other way and watched a company go bankrupt trying to keep up the bills on 50 servers...Vibes....hehe..anyway thats a different story...

Sharding sucks. If it were ever implemented in Eve, they'd set up a no pvp shard and everyone would switch to it so they can haul and mission 23/7 and eve would die. No thx.

ooo..imagine..all the macro miners could have their own shard too..with belts full of araknor and no rats...hmmm....
update: 09:50 eve..
Looks like the server restart went T*t's up.....
/me hands the server team a few coffee's and a pack of Benson to share out..:)

i have fallen in love with this game...i started out hating it and thinking it was a time sink i now love it so much im beyond addicted..oops..self confession there....someone slap me

one server one population and the way pvp is handled is great no games comes close to the long term playability that eve has
