Hi there, I've been playing for around amonth and a half and have now decided to look into finding a good corp to join.
Ideally what I'd be looking for is a mature non-pirate corp with no swearing or leet speak in corp channel. I play solo most of the time as I have a young daughter and need to afk frequently with little notice but I'd like a nice friendly atmosphere as a background to my playing and also some activities that I can join in with when I do have time.
The corp doesnt have to part of an alliance although this would be a nice bonus.
Now a bit about myself,I have around 1.5mill sp's and I like to mine, run missions and generally faff about. In the future once I am a bit more skilled I would be interested in the pvp side of things also.

Gonetae, if you are looking for PvP you can do no better than the NBSI Academy.
Although we were solely created to teach the art of PvP, we understand RL gets in the way of Eve time and the need to make your own ISK, so we make no demands on your game time.

Hiya!
Please take a look at Elite United, you would be more than welcome within our ranks  .
We have a large group of similarly minded players with a wide range of professions. Currently we have around 70 actives and around 15-20 ppl online at the same time so you will never be short of help should you need it, or if you just wanna chat (our CEO is welsh so sheep jokes ARE NOT accepted  ).

according to your description, we might exactly be the corporation you are looking for.
Our members are all mature, most of them having families as well, so we all understand
that RL goes always first.
We are a small, but well organized corporation with a healthy financial base, operating
mostly in 0.0 space currently. Our main fields of activity is empire trade and 0.0 hunting
(and sometimes mining), although there are numerous other tasks to pick from.

Thank you all for the responses. Feel spoilt for choice now hehe. I'll check out the corps and hopefully come to s desicion on one over the next few days.

If after you have considered these other posts and you are still looking, Penumbra is the place to be. We have everything going on from mining to pvp'ing. We use Team Speak and we get the job done, whatever is may be, because we all work together and have fun while doing it.
