...Feel lost and alone and totally confused by all the new content. Heck, no idea what im doing. Anyway, I guess it will take a little time to get to grips with it. My 1st 10 minutes resulted in some gate camper trying to blow my Moa up but I got away from him thankfully, obviously he was crap. Just wish I could remember his name so i could exact revenge when im more competent. Well an exciting return thats for sure.
I was concerened about 1 thing and that is that nobody talks. The local chanel never once flashed indicating someone said something. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?
Im hoping to make my fortune doing all sorts of things from mining to rat hunting but I prefer to do these things with company so if anyone would like to hold my hand for a few days id sure appreciate it. Just someone who will let me pick their brains now and again would be handy :)
Anyway, cant wait to get home to start playing so see you in space.

It all depends on where you're at. Some systems have nobody in local or just a few. The COSMOS changes switched up the various travel routes, so systems that used to be heavily populated are now empty, and systems that used to be empty are now massively populated.
If your region lacks people to talk to, I believe there are racial channels you can join and the like - should be able to chat people up, there. Or you could just join a player corp.

Same happened with me, Look me up in game. A couple people from my starter corp decided to start our own player corp. They were very helpful getting me back on my feet. Don't know what your plans are for the future, but you are welcome to hang out with us.
