I dont know if this has been done before but I was wondering where everyone knows of to go and visit. I am planning a trip around the universe for myself and a few friends and need a couple of places to see...
By this, i mean, places of interest. My very short list currently stands at...
EVE Gate
Dead End
Amarr / Gallente Monuments
Yeah so.. Very short list  any ideas would be a great help

I took a trip to my native system of Intaki... there isn't much to see unfortunately.

Olo theres a wierd space stone henge like strcuture at a moon or planet.

unfortuantly although there is some very rich history in the eve back stories there is very little actual content based on these stories.
No propultion rings in Pator.
No Old Mans Gate.
No Sisters of Eve Research Station at Eve Gate.
Its one of my personal disapointments with eve that the art department never actually developed these items.

The research station may be there. Dont think anyone has ever "reached" the eve gate and there is no range so the 14.4au the scanner does might not even be enough to scan to the eve gate :)
Eve gate is the biggest letdown of all time tbh. I was expecting ruins, a lovely firey wormhole thing. but its just a big white star basically. With a cool looking ripple effect on the space. Make sure you take a secure can to mark yout place. :)

I have previously visited the EVE Gate and had the same thoughts, i was expecting something with at least a show info option...
Thanks for all your input, I went to Olo and didnt find anything :( maybe i missed it... there is alot of moons to visit ^_^
I will be going to more places today, oh and i added City Of God to the list too - An interesting visit, although its mainly ruins.

There used to be the monolith from 2001 in one of the systems near the Eve Gate - Dead End or Reset I think. Not sure if its still there.
It says in the description - "my god its full of stars" or something.

I was passing close to Olo so thought I'd take a look see, I visited every moon and planet but didn't see anything except the first earth type planet I've ever seen (Olo III). There's also nothing on my scanner, has it been removed perhaps?

Head to the Ani constellation in Metro, starting with Nakugard. And there is the caldari one too in the Okkelen constellation. In space agents and eye candy with lots of complexes to explore and put the hacking and archeological analyser mods to work on.

A site that is worth visiting is the can art of a shark near some moon in a caldari system somewhere.
I think it was made by FRICK member?

Aww, I was hoping to visit the famous old man's star stargate :(. I guess they replaced it with a new one as soon as possible. The one he built was a kind of stickytape-and-string solution, apparantly. The sisters of Eve don't live near the eve gate any more, do they?

Nare, I believe at p1 the is a Stonehenge.
Liparer/Imih gate there is an abandonned mining outpost. Used to have a huge Veld field in old days
Uhodo, an abandonned Amarr station
Scolluser weird rock constalation with a wind sail
Tourier I think it was there's a 'coral' thingy, Around Ammold somewhere a similar 'coral'
The Criele Ring. Part of an research-storyline event. Was a blast when that one got build

Heh, yeah I remember tracking there in my thorax, brand new at the time after several month work. The system was flooded with people, and suddenly the fist guy to try and leave was shot by CONCORD for no reason.
Mass panic was the order of the day there, and everyone made a break for the gate, all getting shot at because the system was supposed to be off limits to players still.

The points of interest on the maps used to have a right-click > show info, which gave details about each poi and a system you could see it from.
It no longer works, despite repeated bug reports

For fun I visited the Northernmost and Southernmost systems in EVE. Not much to see except unholy amounts of megacite.
/Boy, were those alliance types mad at me for showing up...

lol I did a similar thing in my first week playing. Hopped in a shuttle and went all the way down to the bottom of paragon soul from eletta :) Cause I was bored.
