I made a courier mission so someone could go bring me the robotics I'd bought. But I decided just to go get them myself and canceled the mission. Now my robotics are in plastic wrap, which says I cant remove them from the mission package. Also I tried to make a new courier mission for them, for myself to accomplish, hoping that then it would come out of the package. This attempt was denied because of the planck bubble generators cannot be stacked.
So it had tried to put the Plastic Wrap into another plastic wrap. But how can I remove the robotics from the wrap? I am not willing to break the wrap without a GM saying "Your stuff will not be destroyed."
Can anyone help me, I invested all the money Ive so far earned in Eve into the contents of a package which apparently I cannot open.
The item should not have been in a package after I cancelled the mission, this does not make sense.
Any input would be appreciated greatly. -------

Edited by: devast8tor on 01/08/2003 00:52:23 Hello,
I'm not a GM, but I can tell you that 'breaking' a plastic wrap item open will not destroy the items so long as you are 'breaking' the item open in station using the right-click menu and not your favorite weapon of choice.
You will receive a warning when you 'break' the package that you will never be able to complete the courier mission, but since you've cancelled it already, that shouldn't matter.
Breaking open the package will deposit all of the item contents back into your station hangar.
Ask me how to join the GFL EVE Corporation!! |

Thanks, you gave me an idea. I'll use the same method to put some less valuable item into a plastic wrap, and break it.
Much appreciated -------

How do you "Wrap/re-package" items?
I have the body of a supermodel. I just can't remember where I left it... |

Repackaging (after you've used an item) is done in the Repair screen. Use the Pick Item button at the top to select the item, then the Repackage button at the bottom. If the item is damaged, you need to repair it first.
If you mean repacking an item for a courier mission - I guess you just create a new mission
