Hi there,
I just started EVE a couple days ago and I'm experiencing a problem when I undock from a station. When I undock, my screen goes black and comes back after a second or two and a popup from my system tray says:
"Display driver Intel Graphics Accelerator Drivers for Windows 7(R) stopped responding and has successfully recovered."
This problem is really aggravating. I've already updated my BIOS and my drivers, so I'm coming here for help.

So, is there solution to this? Is this a known problem or am I alone here? |

Eve hates Intel Graphics cards, I run one in my laptop, and it's a real pain. I actually came to complain because I can't log in since todays patch because of my Intel HD card.
Anyway, check your drivers are up to date to start with, I assume they are, but worth a check.
Next step, go to your graphics card properties. Go to the tab that says 3D, and check the customs settings box. Change your texture quality to performance, Anisotropic Filtering to 2x, Vertex Processing to Enable Software Processing, and Verticle Sync as On.
Let me know how it goes

I tried the stuff you suggested. It's still crashing and recovering on Undock.
Thanks for trying to help, though. |

Yeah, I'm getting the exact same problem at the moment since the most recent patch, it's been working fine with for months now with those settings. If I figure out a fix I'll let you know |

I got a similar issue too. I login to the game, and when my hangar tries to load *bam* the game crashes. The problem only began with the latest patch. I use an Intel graphics card on my laptop. Hope someone from CCP can find a solution real soon because my sub is expiring and I'm not putting money into a game I can't play. :( |

This sounds like what mine was doing on patch day as well. I fixed mine by going onto the graphics tab on eve, and unticking "load station environment", and I could log in then. But you'll probably find you have the station undock/gate jump crash as well. |

Check background running programs. Steam really caused some problems with a few people I know, crashes and disconnects.
There is a EvE Client Safe Mode somewhere in the launcher. Also from the CCP/EVE folder where the game installed.
Also, I don't think EVE is 64bit program or DX11(If someone knows for sure). Maybe need this? http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 |
