A pair of pliers and a rusty breadknife normally work.

the answer is one IDE Cable, one 120gb hard drive, and your own copy of XP. Remove/disconnect old hard drive. connect up new drive. Hit delete as you boot up and change your boot drive to CD-rom. place XP installation CD in drive. Follow prompts and install.
bingo. full admin access.
best thing is, your HD is your PC. reconnect the old one, and it becomes "his" machine again.

Sysinternals makes a program called Wininternals which can be used to reset an administrative password on an NTFS partition. Warning - this is a powerful program, and you can screw up your PC with it. You also have to buy it.
Secondly - If you were feeling particularly evil - You could reinstall Windows on your brothers partition to another directory ("Windoze" for example) assuming that there is enough free space. This would destroy his windows installation, but leave all his data intact.
Third - umm... why not just reinstall Windows on your partition and get back in the game? You say your partition is screwed, but chances are it isn't a hardware issue - just a software one... format & reinstall. If it is a hardware issue take comfort in the fact that failing drives fail quickly once they start failing, so your brothers partition won't be far behind.

1. Get a roll of duct tape. 2. Tape over all of the ventilation holes on the computer except for one, on top if possible. 3. Stick a funnel in the open hole. 4. Fill the computer case 3/4 full of Coca-ColaŤ. 5. Remove the funnel. 6. Get a bicycle pump. 7. Duct tape the valve to the open hole on the computer case. 8. Start pumping. 9. Keep pumping. 10. Just a little more. 11. Your computer case is now open, and your brother no longer has administrative control over the partition.

you're the only one. I'd be likely to do the same... blue Screen of Death, and a "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" error that every single effort to solve has failed to answer... though I suspect that the drowning my PC is less likely than me smashng it to peices with a fire axe when my patience/sanity snaps...

Why doesn't your partition work? Why don't you ask your brother with the admin account to help? Or is he annoyed because you refer to him as 'your *beep* brother?'

1: buy knife 2: stab brother, somewhere where it won't kill him, but cause enough pain/injury for him to be in hospital for several days. 3: with your brother safly "distracted" and before the police arrive, rend open the side of your case with the aforementioned coke and bikepump trick. 4: remove the drives 5: New drives 6: plug in 7: with those working perfectly, Install windows onto them. 8: Partition them, exactly as they where before, but with you as admin 9: Download feckloads of sick **** onto his partition, Generally making him look like a Werid Freak with and Obsession. 10: As the police arrive, show them the sick **** on "his" partition 11: Police arrest evil brother, pardoning you for all your crimes as a reward for capturing your "sick" brother.
Viola!
No more problems.

Download the ISO from that page to make a bootable CD. Boot off the CD and follow the instructions on screen.
