On behalf of Eve University, I would like to thank Huff Technologies for declaring war on us in an attempt to teach us the finer skills of pvp fighting, how to use safespots and insta-jump bookmarks.
Our students are very eager to learn from what is obviously a well known and highly disciplined fighting force, and we look forward to instructing our students on how to use the cloning facilities and what exactly a weapon is used for. Until now, they thought this game was for shooting Faction pirates and mining (I know, I'm shuddering).
I look forward to seeing pod-goo flying through space as our ships are shattered by your mighty fleets of war and possibly watching your own pod-goo sublime away once we are taught how to fight by you.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to mention that Eve University still has an open recruitment policy. We are still accepting students and instructors in any disciplines (research, construction, war). Please drop by the Eve University channel in-game, or say hello at our Eve University Library

How very lovely of them indeed.
I do hope the instructors at Eve Uni are up to the task 
Maybe we can tag along for this war as guest speakers ?

Bit low on behalf of Huff i think but meh, if they want to pick on a training corp as they can't take on older players then bleh.

To be honest, sounds like the entire goal of this War Dec is to get other, more experienced corps to help out EVE University and thus provide free targets to Huff.
I hope anyway, otherwise its just really really lame.

I've always wanted to enter the field of academia. As I've always supported higher education, I have to wish Eve University all the best.

I wish all the luck to Eve University, you'll be quite fine if you just add those couple active HUFF pilots to addressbook and watch local.
They tried getting easy ganks on us too, but quickly retracted war for some reason...

I guess everything posted on this forum is PR in some way, but honestly, how else can we look at it?
We either:
a) all leave the corp
b) stay docked until Huff get bored
or c) use it as a learning oportunity and fight
I'd go for C, so will most of our students I think.

OZ, I really hope your guys have an honest go at this! So many corps give in to despair and start crying. If you current "class" survives this war, just think of the edge they'll have out in the 'real world'!
It really is an oppertunity, even moreso if the Huff guys play along just a little bit.

Seen quite afew of Huff round Rens of late usually camping the BTT station , i do remember one of their members claiming.
"We're the best pvper's out there and any merc corp that had declared on them has been beaten"
Well something along those lines just remember seeing it while passing through

Yeah, They wardeced us a few weeks ago (we are mainly newish people too) Spent the first day wandering round Rens asking for one on one combats. Then the jumped on us when we were in the middle of a battle with another corp.
My finest hour came when the same guy who wanted one on one combat jumped on me in my Hoarder wish his Scorp. I was in the middle of going to warp and when I came out of warp I showed him the joy of trying to catch a hauler equiped with a cloaking device.. 
(Sad thing is, he had his shield hardeners turned on. Guess he thought the battle with a hauler was too much of a risk!)

TBH OZ, I think you'll beat them. They were'nt good when they were one of the pillars of FE and afaik they suck even more now.

umm HUFF you guys are pathetic. Why goto war with a corp full of ppl who dont know how to pvp. I think its pretty sad.
Ill laugh quite hard when they beat ya though.
