Have copied to seperate folder,applied patches,firewall turned off..My buds are online on test atm.
Still i get the "unable to connect on yada yada"
TQ is working great,What gives?

I believe that they limit the number of people that can log into the test server at any given time (at least they used to). Is it possible that this limit was already reached? If so, that would be one explanation.
Also, for Exodus you needed to request activation on the test server. Don't know if it was something special for that or if you still need to.
Finally, in the help files it states that your account had to exist before the last time they updated the database on the test server. Don't know when they did that last, nor how long you've had your account.

When server is full its supposed to say full cluster...
Account is 2 years old,Been on test server loads of times..
And no signup on entropy atm afaik...
It says unable to connect (like i had no internet connection or server was down)

I got same problem, i saw the test server with an old patch, deleted test install, copied live, patched, and was unable to even see the test or live server being up with the new test server, and i have cheched norton internet security, its set on low sec, and i have made entry in it to allow all out and incoming connections to eve test client.
EVE client simply cant connect to anything, it dont seem to work as an internet capable program at all.

prolly cos ccp reverted singularity to the same version as tranquility (3582). its 3716 now though. ;(
