Frege Battle

Hey guys, this is my first movie and it includes one battle from the frege war. I made it very very basic since its my first movie, I wouldve spent some more time on it but I had 10s of hours of problems with codecs and everything so I finally stuck with wmv a little less quality then I was hoping for:( oh and thanks to loxyrider for posting that little guide in the videos thread. A final note, the credits at the end is bugged, I tried several things but couldn't get it right, when you get to the part where the credits are stuck move the video to 3:29 you should be able to view some of the credits. Anyways although this movie is no masterpiece I hope it keeps you entertained for awhile. :)

GF. I Wasn't too sure what to think of POH as I was AFK for most fights. After reading the "They surrendered after three days more days of similar confrontations". I have come to realize that you are like many corps in Eve who are so desperate for acceptance by the Eve community you will say anything. The pilot skills you do have are over-shadowed by the BS. How sad. Nice grammar BTW.

It is a shame you were not able to participate in more of the combat. I also missed a good amount of the fights, though I was there for a few. However, the fact that Taylor documented the outcome of the war (in this case, FREGE surrendering) should not have given you an opinion one way or another. One does not watch a sports game, or a portion there of, and not wonder who won. Admitedly, an eve war is not as clear cut as a sporting event, however, FREGE did end up surrendering. The fact that Taylor put that in the movie should not offend you, if it does, perhaps you're not in the right corp. I know some corps would have continued to fight even though they were losing money and, if they fight long enough, members.
No one is claiming FREGE are pushovers. When I was around, the people I saw fought with skill and determination, doing some rather risky things to try to get us. Bottom line is, in the end, the FREGE leadership didn't want to continue to fight. Can't say I blame them. From what I have seen, FREGE is largely industrial, while we are......almost entirely pvp, and we were doing quite well.
I do find it unfortunate that you were so personnally offended that you felt the need to lash back in such a pathetic manner. Rather then asking Taylor, in private, to reword the surrender line, you felt you should publicly cry "these are bad bullies trying to look big."
Though honestly, I find nothing wrong with that line (other then the obvious gramatical mistake, which we all know is punishable by public riducule, followed by slow painful death, when making movies related to EVE combat.) Perhaps a little more insight to what each corp/alliance primarily does would have given you the chance to enjoy a movie, perhaps during the intro.
I tip my hat at the group that came upon me, though I did manage to get away, so I don't know your names (too busy trying to warp out to look). Also to Don Hicks, you may have gone down, but that certainly took a pair. Wish I could have been there for more, but I wasn't.

FREGE loosing another war.... now there's a shocker... it's too bad FREGE is soft and accepts carebears just to get the numbers instead of concentrating on pvp

Not a bad vid, but could have done with better camera work
A couple of questions about the fight tho, why wasn't the scorp primary and why were you not all fireing at different targets?
Hey and next time turn off that "do you want to commit a criminal act" thing lol nothing worse than having that pop up in a fight

Just to answer some questions.
1. The scorp was primary, if you watch it again, you will see it die. There were 2 scorps in their fleet, the 2nd appeared to have no EW and the raven was fitted with tech2 siege launchers so we took him down after the 1st scorp.
2. I think you might have mistyped your other question "why were you not all fireing at different targets?"
When we uncloaked we were spread apart, and were all close range ships. If the primary wasnt in range, we shot their other support.
3. About the commit a crime thing. It was there because dobbs was trying to remote armour rep me, and it stupidly asked if he wanted to do that because I was in PH and at war with frege o0?
Apart from that, taylor made a vid about that 1 fight. We are working on a longer vid atm including fraps from fights all over :P

Hey I'm not having a go at you here, so no need to get so defensive :)
It's just that on the vid, many of the targets the tempest pilot locked seemed to already have damage which suggested shooting at different targets. Bad typo lol, I was moving through 0.0 at the time I was making the post 
Yeh I guess it's an easy mistake to make about the warning thing

The fleet was consisted up of frege and ekliptika, they left 0.0 so come and kill us so we had 2 sentries on our side, and diziet if i wanted to smack i wouldve done this, during the war we destroyed 173 ships and lost 9, we lost 1 battleship which we ended up stealing another from their safespot, did a pure 1 billion isk damage(insurance payouts taken out of the amount) while losing 50m. Have a nice day.

nice vid taylor. but, i have to send you my fraps of the fight. unfortunately i was crappin myself the whole time because i figured i last a whole 30s if that, so i wasn't able to zoom into other ships and such. Being in a tackler however i got up to all the ships so i got alot of close up shots of FREGE going BOOM!also i wouldn't mind getting a copy of dobb's fraps so i can make a vid of it with some other vids of mine ^^

OOOOH very nice video there, that should teach those FREGE suckers a lesson! oh wait.....NOOOOO. Nice little battle we had there but just a few mistakes in the text; we didnt surrender, thats what we call PoH properganda to raise your morales, that was the only battle that occured between us that was fair, and dont say you were outnumbered, ekliptica were taking hits from the sentry guns, looks like there were only 5 FREGE guys on that video, there certainly was not 3 more days of those battle. part from those mistakes was a decent video always likes seeing battles, but anyway, WATCH OUT PA PoH ARE COMING TO GANK YOUR HAULERS!

ok From this moment forth no more smacktalking here, frege if you have something to discuss then talk to us in game, your friend body collector is giving us t2 bpcs and then when the outposts come out youre going to build ships for us, frege surrendered, second at the very beginning i put that it was frege/ekliptica, and i said similar confrontations not fights, like i said please no more smacktalk from here, if you have a problem send me a hate mail, have a nice day!:)
