Ello peeps Well I have been doing level 3 Minmater missions in a Raven and it's become very dull indeed. So I figured with the Cerb I could do the lev 3 missions just as fast and have a little more fun.
My Initial idea was to match my Raven setup Hi: 5 named heavy launchers (and maybe a med Nos - haven't decided). Close to fitting Heavy launchers 2 but worried about lack of CPU. Med: 1 AB 1 Large tech 2 Shield boost and 3 active shield hardners Low: 2 x PDU2 2 x BCU
The main issue here is obviously when having to run the shield boost for longer than a couple of cycles I'm out of cap (and cap skills are maxed).
Should I use passive shield hardners instead? Drop the ab? drop the BCUs and run 4x PDU2?
So anyone else out there fly this ship on Minmater Lev 3 missions and if so what is your setup?
BTW I could only find pvp setups for this ship on the forums, if there is an npc setup thread ,please be so kind to point me in that direction

you can always go for what i do... its a bit more xpensive though
2 dg passive em hardners 1 Dread Guristas Invulnerability Field 1 dg large shield booster 1 cap 2 recharger low slots 2 pdu 2 & 2 bcu top should be okay with arbies
this will give you resist 77.5 em 75 exp 81.25 kin 87.5 therm

With those resists how often do you need to run the booster (I presume the invulnerablity field is also on auto repeat?), and for how long can you run it before your cap cries?

Not sure what your skills are, but I had no problems at all with the following:
Hi: 2xassault T2, 3xheavy T2, 1xmed nos Med: AB, large boost, 1xhardener (depending on rats), boost amp, 2xcap rechargers Low: 4xBCU (you might need some PDU)
The assaults are better at cleaning up the frigs, and 3 heavies can generally take down the cruisers plenty fast. Generally, because you're engaging at distance, it's better to go for the booster and not keep a bunch of hardeners running - the natural bonuses are plenty if you bring one to match the rat damage.

You'll be just as bored doing level 3 in a cerberus as a raven. If you want interesting, use a caracal. It's what I used to do all the level 3s before I got my cerberus, and level 3s now are very very easy in a cerberus.
Caracal setup: 5 Arby Heavy Launchers 1 Gistii A-Type Small booster, 3 active hardeners 2 BCU
That's what I used to do every level 3 mission, makes things far from boring, especially on missions like silence the informant, spy stash, and black market hub. Have to really want excitment though to spend around 100mil on a caracal and then put it into mortal danger.

My set up is ... against guristas / angel extraveganza
5 T2 heavies 4 T3 Bcus
1 med shield extender , 1 med cl5 or better , 2 passive hardeners - ( eg 2 em or 2 kinetic etc depending on mission) 1 cap recharger Have also swapped the T2 heavies for T2 assaults with no real downside and upped extender ( only damned near impossible to kill bonus stage bs)
All other missions a complete breeze
More fun when you take on lev 4s
Anyway enough of my inane ramblings
