I am giving out 15 eve cd-keys with old gamestop boxes If they have survived(old boxes seem to like to die,And all of them are outdated, eve first exodus ) I want to rally them together in one place so they always have a spot for needed things, I have some agent ships to give away as I have tons em But Im in lack off skils and a up to date mineral index. All Im asking is What highway system/center off trade Has the highest newb mineral index, The lowest cost per items And highest concentration Of english, American based characters (Lag is inevitble, Them finding friends is Top priority,Also highway systems have alot off cans that advertise "we help new players").

I recommend Gallente Space, since its where ppl seems to be.
Thers a system called Nausschie (sp) which is out of the way, but still very close to Jita, Ours, Lumi etc.
Also got a 04. next door, 0.9 with 2/10 plex next door, so thers a bit for everyone

Sobaseki's within 2 jumps of all three caldari newbie systems, plus jita's right next door

Choose a place well away from the hub systems - don't want lag and endless spam ruining thier first impressions of Eve. Try Osmon, or Ishisomo in Caldari space. Nice people out that way, good ore, and a vibrant market!

If you want to really bring newbies together, why don't you set up a base in an Empire border system (say Scolluzer for instance) and take the newbies rampaging through Syndicate in the evenings? 3FA has been getting pummeled by frig fleets lately, and with frig fleets, the more the merrier!

Why dont offer them the choice to enter EVE-University?
People there will probably help them enjoy the first weeks of the game enough so they get hooked, never experiencing RL ever again.

for alot of old small corps Hahda used to be the place, back in the day there was alot to do in the area.
Bika is also nice, its got alot of minerals in the area and a decent spawn as well.
both are in domain both are out of the way from high traffic. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Amarr space is a good idea. Particularly the cluster of Tash-Murkon Prime, Amarr, and Hedion.
Two of those systems are regional hubs that where 9-10 jumps to the North is Jita and 6-7 jumps to the South is 0.0 space (Providence). In addition, there are lots of 0.9's and 0.8's nearby. To boot, those systems are nowhere as laggy as Jita or Nonni while maintaining a healty population and traffic pattern.

Caldari Space - The Citadel
Otherwise anywhere in the south-southwest half of the map, and at least 3 jumps from the systems listed in the news :) less crowding, and they can run complexes and fly in 0.4 space without too much fear of a gank squad waiting.

I love Kihtaled in Khanid Region. Only problem is getting racial-specific skills and equipment, so you might take care of that beforehand.

Verge Vendor is my vote.
But the rest of you stay out. ------ I generally assume the following: 1. 95% of Empire Carebears don't get 0.0 PVPers. 2. 95% of 0.0 PVPers don't get Empire Carebears. 3. 100% of Ore Thieves steal just to upset the Miners. |

Amarr space needs more pilots. Go 2-3 jumps down the pipe from Kor-Azor Prime and you should find good rocks, good belts, and relative proximity to some established markets.
And there's an alliance war in K-A and Aridia. Sell ships while it's hot?
