I've had this happen soo often and I'm only going to say this on the matter:
If you want me to become a returning client then stop selling me inferior stuff.
I pay good money for drones only to scoop them back in when I start using them cause sometimes they are lacking structure or are half damaged, so I scoop them back in to "save" them from dying until I can repair them.
I've had this happen with hammerheads, my first 4 wasps were ALL damaged and now i buy 4 berserkers where 1 has less structure then the other 3. The person selling me these drones told me they pay ISK for referal's but I won't be refering any friends to them cause I won't be coming back there either.
What's the point in paying 60k for a drone that needs 10k repairs before you use it ?
That'll be all.

Yes, scamming is the proper word for exploiting someones trust or ignorance. |

I bought 4 stacked berserker drones today.
I bought 10 stacked hammerheads on several occasions.
It does not matter, I stick them in my drone bay and on my first outing I get annoyed to see they are damaged or are missing 20% structure like the Berserker I bought today.

I will not go as far as giving names here in the open but...
Bought 10 hammerhead drones on market in Verge Vendor, atleast 5 were damaged and the first time it happened I didn't know you could repair your drones, second time bought another 10 drones in the same system als some were damaged.
Bought 10 hammerhead drones on market in Amarr and there were also damaged drones in that batch.
The berserkers I got from someone in the trade channel, seemed like an honest person maybe people are not aware this is happening ?

it's not possible to stack a damaged drone......... if they were stacked when u purchased them, as you stated, their must be a bug somewhere.

ive had drones seem to be damaged when launched
changing launched drone window while deploing them i think caused it

I agree that repackaged items cannot be damaged. It must be a bug you are encountering or an oversight on your part.

I made some screenies, 1 where they are nicely stacked and the other has them orbiting me.
I don't think it has to do with changing active drone window, sometimes the first one I launch is also damaged, the screenies i made show one with less structure, sadly I cannot repair this and I found out with Hammerheads that they are always the first to die.
And some are just plain damaged, I buy them stacked, launch them then without fighting I have to repair them to restack them nicely in my dronebay, yes I am one of those fanatic stackers

Problem solved
none of those drones shown in your screenshot are damaged each one has a full structure bar. the structure bar on the last drones launched are a differnt length and always are, which i can only assume is a bug since it doesnt matter what kind of drone it is or what state or repair it is in. The key here is that the bars regardless of length, are full....if it had been damaged, then the end of the bar would be hollow all those bars are full right to the end.

They are not damaged...
when you launch one drone, then resize drone window and after that launch another drones - their hp bar size just change. They are _not_ damaged so don't worry about it...

Ok, so my problem is partially solved, confusing. Please also read last paragraph of my previous post with the screenies.
EDIT: Sometimes the shorter structure bar happens with 2nd and 4th drone, like hammerhead having same length bar as a lesser drone. Or I retrieve the last drone and launch a new one cause I think it's buggered, then it properly shows full bar. If I scoop them all in and launch short structure bar drone first then it still has shorter bar, been noticing that for 3 weeks now.

I assure you it's not damaged.
I can control over 8 drones and most of time that 6 of them are showing shorter bars.
this bug has been there for a while.
I say it again. They are not damaged nor having less structure. It's a bug.

So these drones needed 10k repairs did they - as you stated? You repaired them and it cost that much? Or are you just being an idiot who's sounding off without a clue?
If this seems harsh to anyone - tough. You always repair and repackage your drones after returning from a fight (if you have half a clue). If he's saying that before he ever used the drones he had to repair them (and pay a repair bill) then he has a point - otherwise he hasn't the remotest clue what he's on about

No, I did not post a fantasy.
Maybe it's related to a old bug where you paid 500k to repair your ship and when you undocked you still had 500k damage to your ship. Perhaps same thing happened to drones and I'm still buying those old damaged drones ?
The Hammerheads needed repairs, the berserkers, as I stated earlier, could not be repaired, because it's another visual bug.

There is a bug with drones and I discovered it being a noob.
I repaired my drones and didn't repackage them.
I wondered why I was losing so many so fast until I cam back fonm a trip without fighting and found my drone was in the same state of disrepair as I had left...strange I thought..so I repaired it again for the same repair price but didn't repackage....and, you guessed it...still not repaired.
Then I wa s given the tip to repackage and hey presto..shiney good as new drones...

ok i stopped reading after this post. If you are talking about the drones that look like this (sorry about the way I do this but its the only way I can think to do it):
Drone1
HP [------------] (looks full)
Drone2
HP [---------] (doesn't look full
I am glad to relieve your stress and say that your Drone IS 100%. However this is a bug that has been in the game since beta. I too thought these drones were damaged till one ACTUALLY got damaged then it looks like this:
Drone1
HP [--------- ] (damaged drone)
Drone2
HP [------ ] (damaged drone)
This meant the original drone was hurt. It is just a visual SNAFU with the drones. They haev teh same health and same life as any other drone.

I solved the short structure bar bug yesterday, now when I launch 6 drones I expand the window after launching the first one, I wish I could tell the game to keep that window on that size 
But the Hammerheads I got of the market had real damage, I would launch them and instead of drone being [--------] it was [----- ]. In one market deal 1 drone had very little life left in it.

that is mighty curious DJ, the only way to put items on the market is to repackage them first, and you cant repackage damaged items.
Get a bug report filed.
