Is it going to be like a gift to all EvE players? Or do i need to find some obscure site to sign up on?
The fruits of this realignment will be seen as early as this winter with the upcoming EVE Online expansions and the launch of DUST 514 private trials.

No idea but hopefully they'll open it up to some eve subscribers.. Would make sense in my eyes since it would be so much easier to test the connection with EvE. |

i really want to get it at some point i think having something to fight over, besides just to fight will be refreshing change from the
terabad COD games, and with the way BF3s going and screwing over the PC* crowed i wont be getting that eather.
*(I do in fact know that dust is coming out a PS3 only game.)

Read somewhere that first round of beta will go to all active eve accounts. Christmas present perhaps?

There was a blog on this awhile back. PlayStation Plus and EVE Online members will be getting their invites first. As for folks who subscribe to neither... I don't know. The beta will probably open a little after the first round of invites are sent. |

you know why its not on Xbox right? because M$ wants full control of it and wont allow games on there net work to interact with things not on the M$ network. so you only have M$ to blame for dust not being on the Xbox.
what i really want to know is how there planning to allow dust to be a cross generation game? how are they planning to deal with PS3 playing with people on a PS4 or what ever when it comes out in the next 2 years

I don't know.
But I recently noticed that they had added a crapload of Dust and WoD sections to the bug reporting. Try submitting something there saying that you can't get your client to work and ask that they send a new oneGǪ
