Depending on the severity of the (assumed) violation it takes from about 3 days to more than 2 months.

As far as I know:
* Temporary ban: A duration notice pop-up appears upon game login. E-mail notification is sent.
* Permaban: Game login and account management are disabled, without notices, and attempts to change the account password will show the account as banned. Forum login show the account as banned. E-mail notification is not sent.
Ban petitions have their own queue, and are handled by a security team investigator. Investigations can take time. Be patient, polite, and supply them with as much info as accurately as you can, and in a timely fashion to minimize the turnaround time.
If CCP makes a mistake, they will apologize and may reimburse you for lost gametime. |

I just woke up today to find the same situation on one of my accounts. I've never done anything remotely against the TOS so I just can't understand why that account got banned. It's also my main account, so it's even worse. I wonder if the OP has had her issue resolved yet? I seriously hope it doesn't take weeks or months. |

when i was hacked the hacker also changed my email, henceforth i never received the email about my banning.
luckily i still had my other accounts i could use to contact ccp whit.
