Ishkur or Blaster Enyo for Piracy?

The Ishkur has the drone potential and the resulting ability to to catch pretty much anything but then the enyo is a mean baby and fitted with blasters it can tear things to shreads at close range. What do you think ? --------- The words "Exciting" and "Safe" are mutually exclusive; pick one. If you act like a sheep, expect to be shorn and knitted into a colorful sweater.

But your targets rep/sheild booster can't fire so it doesn't matter. Blasters on a frig are useless? frig+MWD=fast Sure, it's an AF, but it's still faster than most other ships ingame (especially pirate targets) Free bumpage for all

In practice, and again, unless the opposition is daft, you find that the distance isn't closed such that the blasters really come to bare like they need to in the fight.

Most ships that the Ishkur will be pirating are barges and haulers. You seriously think they can outrun an ishkur? Free bumpage for all

You are going to lose them and the insurance does not nearly cover the cost. But if you must, then you have to look at your skills. natch! If you have good gunnery then the Enyo is the obvious choice, good drone skills then go for the Ishkur. I prefer the Enyo, with 4x150 IIs, web, scram, mag stab. But the Ishkur is good, I have just got the skills to use Hammerhead IIs and it rocks.

Spaced Skunk	Posted - 2005.10.14 11:24:00 - [27] The enyo requires less skills to fly properly, all you need to be able to use for a good PVP 1v1 ship is t2 railguns or blasters and fairly decent all round gunnery,a decent tank and fairly good cap skills. The ishkur however is different, on top of t2 railgun/blasters ,the decent tank and the cap skills, decent drones skills are needed, lights dont cut it for me, even when theres ten of em, which will require like assualt V and interfacing V. Whats better? Drones? Gunnery? Get the jist? YARRR!!!
