I've just created an alt which i'll maybe train later.
And have taken a closer look to the new character creation process, as it's doesn't matter which race and bloodline i'll choose.
Well, these guys have done a great job with all those character's models in the bloodline selection. Shows an attitude of the race and bloodline :)
Well, it's sad that i'm not an Amarr/Amarr...  Never liked the old ones too much 
in 2007 i've thought it's a sci-fi simulator, not an "e-sports" game. I'm not a teenager, how would i like it much?

Yes, character creation is the best i've seen. It's a bit funny in a game where you don't really play with your character.
I remember the old char creation though. When I first tried EvE some years ago, avatars were ugly as hell almost like they were dying to an awful disease ^^
On topic, I began as Gallente/Gallente but I sold the char to begin a new fresh Amarr/Khanid. I spent quite some time modeling it, I like it a lot. Amarr/Amarr reflect their pride as they stand but they are a bit too fanatic for my taste ;)

Wrong, not a single empire puts the "good of the many" before anything else. Caldari are still the bottomline, and occasionjally, their own citizens, but fi your not caldari yourself, the empire will and heck, would ENCOURAGE you to Die in a Fire. gallente more or less the same as caldari. Amarr and Minmatar, yeah, not even getting into the clusterfuck those two can be. |

I side with the Minmatar/Gallente when it comes to lore and ideology, but I love all the Factions with regards to their ships, roles, and cultural differences.
In the grand scheme of things, the good actions and atrocities committed by several different groups, including the Amarr, who wished to enslave the Minmatar for reasons much like the Spanish and English conquerors of early modern history, make up the EVE story. You cannot have good without evil. And without the Amarr, the Minmatar wouldn't have turned out the way they had.
In the face of annihilation, you tend to set aside your differences and become united under a cause, such as fighting off the Amarr assaults. Some Minmatar groups still fight amongst each other, but as a whole, the Republic is looking after its own.
Thankfully, the majority of ships are balanced, so your choice of a ship has less to do with which Faction you agree with, and more with what fitting you like to do things with more. It's entirely up to you, and that's what makes EVE so great. |

an Amarrian fleet attacked the Gallente and failed miserably.
a Minmatar fleet attacked CONCORD!!!!!!!! and left their HQ in ruins.

My Bio is actually a quote of the Khanid female description. It was one of the reasons I ended up with a female Khanid Knight when I made Ocih.

Are you talking about solo play nerfing or did I miss something on one of my many vacations from EVE? Amarr doctrine always did suffer alone and became vicious in large fleets. Unless they nerfed fleet strength of Amarr design, I think you never understood Amarr as a game aspect. |
