I concur.
Decent storylines and events enhance Eve, and provides motivation for people to get involved..
Without their dynamism, Eve seems stagnant.

Right now, I don't know if I'm meant to be a pervy fan of Gallente ladies, a religious nutter, a capitalist pig, a general fruitcake or a militaristic psycho with necrophilic tendencies.
It's not easy trying to be all things at once...
I need an Emperor to tell me how to behave!

Same goes for other features in the game, they all take a back seat to PvP, and I'm afraid role-playing is at the very bottom of the list...
Just my .02 ISK
Roleplaying and PvP are not mutually exclusive.
In fact, RP provides a reason to go out and do some PvP.

Some time ago there was a series of events where mystery ships were wnadering around Providence.
Eventually the CVA and other local forces captured one of the pilots with "assistance" from Viceroy et al.
We then had another event to transport the prisoner to another location.
And there the story ends.
To my knowledge, nothing has happened since.

Originally by: Khaldorn Murino Yep, were in agreement there.
Well, Oveurs doing a forum spank today, so im hoping he'll add his voice to this. Hoping quite a lot actually. Someone shout about how Minmatar guns are bigger than the Amarrians and that might get him over. (of course, the ladies already know this)
Minmatar guns may be bigger, but lasers have a wider bore.
It's just a shame about the rate of fire though
