imo they are both sort of unnecessary and douchey behaviors lol. i mean...your name is right under your picture. no one needs reminded of your game name. it's right there.
chribba is the only one that gets a pass from this judgement. because he does it different.

It's not a beauty contest though - I suppose with good reason.
I'm quite proud of some of the portraits I've created, but I don't expect anyone else to like them. I think that's one of the great strengths of the EVE online's character creator; that I can make something that satisfies my creative urges, but not anyone else. Some of my characters were getting a little bit too much attention though so I changed them to fugly... apart from my Amarr alt because nobody looks at Amarr girls for some reason.
I don't get much opportunity to notice good portraits/characters anymore. A real shame when there are a lot of people who obviously put a lot of thought into their toons whether attractive, ugly or whatever; full credit to them for their creativity. |
