We are still recruiting for English-speaking EU and US TZ's. we always have guys out doing the ~smallgangthang~, but here's some bigger fights from the last few days:
7-2 vs. V.O.I.D. - We jumped into Tasti and followed their Drake to a POCO; when it landed we got the rest of their fleet minus falcon on scan. As soon as we all land, we start deucing the Drake, meanwhile his entire fleet lands with 2 Scythes. We pop the Drake while he's taking reps, and we end up chasing off their logi and chased off the falcon. Now that we can actually shoot things we deuce a Talos, but the ECM came back, and they were able to jam out our Augs, and eventually killed them. With our logi down and us being jammed by the Scorp, I MJD'd out to the Scorp and end up chasing him off; but Wex and I ended up being tackled and dying by several tech 3's. Overall, it was a fun fight, albiet we had to go up against a lot of ECM.
7-2 vs. Altbrard - Next door to our home system, we had an alt of one of our bros let us know that there was a district open for orbital bombardment. Said bro gets eyes on, and there's a fleet protecting a Cormorant who is doling out punishment to doods on the ground. We chat for a second, and bro gets his alt back into our system and we ship to BLOLOPS. Most everyone just brought covops cruisers, but since I'm a dongue I brought my Redeemer. Our bro's alt in the Arazu goes in and gets tackle on the fleet, and lights cyno, and we pour in. Apparently there was more guys than our bro thought, and we didn't bring any type of logi, so we lost our Arazu (I blame Obama). Now bloodthirsty, our fleet gets a rageboner and chops down the rest of the fleet. Our alts in Isto now have eyes on a fairly big armor BC fleet that's headed our way. As they jump in, we get cloaked up, and we end up jumping out. We reship to armor BS, and then the armor BC fleet had decided that they ain't got time fo no fight, and they decide to dock. Their CEO decided to try and get eyes into Isto, and pays for that with his Hurricane Fleet Issue.
7-2 vs. ROFL & VERUM - tl;dr: we made them a sandwich, they ate it, and banged our mother & sister. Our directors got notifications of a VERUM fleet attacking one of our POCO's; so we decided to fleet up into our tinker domis backed by a couple of neuting Geddons. We get eyes into Skarkon and see a few guys shooting the poco with logi support, and we decide we'll take them. Meanwhile we know that VERUM has been working with ROFL, so we send out a scout to see if ROFL is staging on their titan. Our eyes were taking a little bit of time getting to ROFL's staging system, so we decided to go ahead and attack the fleet attacking the POS. We start to kill their logi, when our scout jumps into ROFL's staging area and starts screaming something about dongs. We see a cyno go up on field, and then we have 25 armageddons drop in on top of our fleet. We MJD out, losing 2 domis, 2 geddons, and FNVent lost his Proteus + pod due to a disconnect. Thinking we could escalate the fight, we warp back to their fleet and drop some slowcat carriers. They MJD out without escalating, and we held the field albeit we lost our asses.
It's better to live one day as a lion than a hundred years as a sheep.
