Hi There Capsuleers,
Just going to tell you a bit about myself and my new service Eve Blackjack.
Personal Summary:
I started in Eve in early 2010 on this very character, i learned how to do missions and began plexing my account in 3 months, after getting tired of missions, a friend of mine in null sec loaned me some substantial isk to buy a character, and i made my way out to null sec in a carrier and grinded for hours on anoms. I then deployed to the north to fight goons and RA while fighting over drone space. I sold my character and bought a new one, and did small gang PvP for about 18 months, i then sold that character and subbed 7 accounts that were miners, sold them, and here i was....
Business Summary:
In my time in eve, i found that many of the activities i was doing were repetitive, and i would watch movies or whatever while doing them, waiting for fleets, mining, missioning... i got into EOH poker but that was too complicated for a game, a game should be easier to set up and manage. So i thought, Why aren't more games in the Eve Online Browser? It would be much more convenient. Alas, there was none i could find, i even talked to some developers about making a game for RL money, it was much too expensive because of the way the game would have to be coded or something.
A friend of mine got into Eve Online who had just graduated from the university with a Computer Science degree, and i mentioned my past aspirations with no thought of them actually happening, and low and behold, he said, I CAN DO THIS! So.. we both set out to make a game in the eve browser, he already had made a blackjack game for a mobile phone as a class project, and so it began. After about 4 months of development and testing, we now have a product that is ready to play!
- We will be releasing our payouts and our income received to the public, as well as information on how we generate our random numbers for the game, so that everyone understands and knows that we are not "fudging" the game mechanics in the house's favor.
- The game is live now and we already have plans in the immediate future for more upgrades and features to the current game build.
- We plan to be here for the Long Haul and appreciate any and all advice and suggestions regarding the game, the site, and how we run them.
