Hi
I was wondering which races drones to specailise in. I fly mostly Gallante and Caldari ships so I was wondering if there is a massive difference in the races drones and which race has the best ones?

It's mostly personal preference and deciding which damage type you want, like choosing ammo, but Ogres are my personal favourite and seem to be the most commonly used for sheer BS on BS combat.

I find explosive (minmatar) drones to be the best simply because the other drones are a pain to handle properly. Although T2 Amarrian drones should be as fast and agile as T1 Minmatar.
To put it another (slightly funnier) way: Mimatar aren't as likely to have sex as Gallente. Also, Minmatar don't take the scenic route (they're fast and start doing damage much sooner than Gallentean)
Be aware that everyone whines about Thermal drone damage being too high. Minmatar drones does about 20% less damage than thermal drones, so what they whine about you'll find your drones not to have.

Ogres (and t2 ogres) have the highest damage modifier of the drones, and thermal damage is pretty decent against both shield and armor tanks. They are however, hideously slow. Personally I generally use a mix of ogres and zerkers and will consequently be specialising in Gallente and Minmatar drones. If you're going to be concentrating on drone carriers as a specialisation path, you'll want to get all 4 though, as each race's assault frigs/ships have different weakness (kin and therm will be pretty useless against gall/caldari hacs while exp/em respectively will chew them up, whereas explosive is useless against Amarr hacs and kinetic is a nice big gaping hole on Minnie).
