CCP ignored them (exactly like they did when Akita told CCP that Technetium would become the new bottleneck before the Dominion release). Goons loudly and proudly broadcast that they are doing this stuff, and the stories they tell or make others tell are bringing in a lot of business for CCP. Also, it won't be low yield. Goons don't waste time with low-yield ventures unless they're doing it for reasons other than profit. Fit a warfare link to your tech 1 battlecruiser. Train Wing Commander. Get in the Squad Commander or Wing Commander position. Your fleets will be superior to everyone else's.
