Scenario: You're in a gang with an unaffiliated pilot (not in your corp or alliance) in 0.5+ space and you happen across a war target who is at war with yourself but not the guy with you. Can the guy with you shield boost you while you fight your war target without incurring the wrath of CONCORD (baring in mind he wouldn't attack the war target he would only boost your ship)?

Your friend would become flagged to the war target, leaving him open to be attacked, but other than that nothing else would happen.

Well i got armorboosted by a total stranger doing a mission, so thats more or less the same thing.
If it's not an agressive act on u by that person then in theory NO, that person should not get concordized by doing something positive to your ship.
Mind u i'm not 100% sure about this.

I remember people whining a while back about how people were using this massively lame tactic. I do not remember whether the devs fixed it or not.

A little clarification that might help..
Shield-boosting/Armor-repping/Cap-transferring are not aggressive acts, you can do these things to anyone at any time without incurring the wrath of CONCORD.
BUT, if you do any of the above to someone who is currently fighting someone else in empire space, you gain a hostility flag to the person they are fighting. That person can now attack you without being ganked by CONCORD, whether or not you are at war with them. This is allowed to prevent lame tactical usage.
This happens whether or not you are ganged with that person.
If you are ganged with a person from a different corp who encounters someone with whom they are at war, that person can attack you with impunity, whether or not you are assisting that person in any way.

You should get a warning message basically describing what the previous poster said when you try to activate a module on someone involved in a war. At least I did when I tried to use Remote Sensor Boosters.
