This is getting ridiculous...I cant move around in 0.0 or do agent missions since I get disconnected too often to risk either of those activities. It does seem to happen more (disconnecting) when I jump from one system to the next.

"getting freaking ridiculous."
That is an understatement for sure. Everytime I try to jump to a new system or dock or load modules to my ships, EVE disconnects and then has trouble reconnecting for about 10 minutes.
And not to mention when just flying around in an asteroid belt, I get disconnected too!
Find the problem already!

If another game had pushed me back to desktop as often as eve have done since last friday, i would have taken it back to the store a long time ago.
to be able to connect and maintain connection to an online game is a vital part of what ccp is offering to the customers.
At you end or not dont really matters, when so many of your customers are effected something is wrong. if the problems lies with one of ccp's contractors then they should either push for it fixed or find a contractor able to supply the product promissed to them.
I seen ccp state that this problem do not effect all but a large part of their customers all over the world, and even not being a net wizard would think this is vital information to track down the problem. where is the people traced that have no problems are they traced the same way as those with problems? what configuration does the people have that experience no problems versus the people that do have problems.
I accept that internet can have problems from time to time and even have to go down when its sick or broken for repairs, what i can not accept or understand is that ccp have had people looking in to this problem for almost a week and they are "still" looking for it.
well ccp if the people you have looking for the problem is not able to locate it please get help from someone able to do it.
I dont expect you to snap your finger and solve the problem, but i want an answer to why and how long we can expect this to continue.

I'm paying CCP E14 a month just to be faced with a 'disconnected from server' message ... AGAIN! I think it's time to 'disconnect my subscription' from CCP

Seriously, quit the whining on this. I'm having all the same troubles as you are. This is not a problem with CCPs servers, its a problem with certain ISPs overseas routing.
Whining to CCP about this is akin to whining to your friend for hanging the phone up on you all the time when the trouble is with the phone company. _____________

Yes but if like a previous poster said, if it is affecting us all they should make the investigation a priority, its all well and good having spanky new servers but if no can connect to them then what the point?
And with all the tracers being sent in surely they can locate the problem and put a 'squeeze' on who ever is responsible. If nothing gets done send in a merc corp

An explanation of the problem has already been posted in the player news section.
If you don't understand it, think of the route between your PC and EVE as a chain. Each link in this chain is a computer that your connection has to go through. If just ONE of the links in the middle of the chain is broken, then your PC cannot talk to EVE. This is what is currently going on.
In other words, the communication from your PC is stopped before it ever reaches the EVE server, which in fact is working well within acceptable limits.
Now if you still don't understand and want to whine, I can recommend a great brick wall right next to your front door. ----------------------------------------------- My Ideas: Drones wish list <-- 2 years old :O
