Ctd's and timeouts are better than not being able to connect at all.....

the weirdest thing for me is I will have the game running fine no problems. Then I quit it and try to go back in and then it is ******. I have tried reinstalling a bunch of times and still not connecting.
Tried doing that checksum thing that another topic said would get it to work, that just restarts my computer instantly.
Hasnt this game been out for like 2 and a half year? This type of bug is like a beta bug not a well established games bug.

Ok banned proxy, couldnt play after that.... Uninstalled eve, restarted and then reinstalled, restarted and then launched game works again
This is the 4th time i have had to reinstall eve to get it to work, im sure it will stop again after i get off today.
Seems to be a quick fix as it doesnt take long to install the game.

Yeah, tried to log in and got 'your ip adress is banned' was using the proxy. What are EULA problems.
Not sure waht the issue is but I can't connect from here which means it may be pointless fo rme to play...

posted on the connect to local host thread; Well then I can't freaking connect from where I do most of my computer time. Which means I may drop the game.

NOTE: Going through a 3rd party proxy can compromise your account information. I'm not saying Chribba is doing that, but its possible to inspect the traffic going between you and the server.
Also note that if someone that is using the same proxy is banned, it may lead to a ban of ALL accounts connecting from the same IP address, and if you connect through the proxy, the IP address of the proxy is registered in the connection logs.
Finally a quote from the EULA:
Originally by: "EVE EULA" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (4) You may not use the Software, or any information accessible through the System, to bypass the System login architecture or create or provide any other means through which the System may be accessed and/or the Game may be played by others, as, for example, through server emulators. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
