I have some Questions about Cloaking, Any help will be appreciated.
1. If I am cloaked
and someone is near me(lets say 5 meters) would he detect me on his radar?
2. if a hostile ship has me locked and i cloak would that unlock me from the enemys Targeting system?

1. If they got with 5 meters you altomaticly un-cloak and can'nt re-cloak while theres an object with 5km
2. If your locked (by a hostile or non-hostile) you can'nt cloak

Cloaks are mainly used to avoid fighting. Like dodging a pirate in low-sec.

Another question, can i lock someone when i'm cloaked, or would i just decloak? |

Cloaking devices have a recab time on them. That means when you uncloak you have to wait a certain amount of time before you can lock. The better the cloaking device the shorter the time. The higher the level of cloaking skill. The shorter the time for all cloaking devices. Covert Ops cloak is like 5 seconds I think with IV.

You can't also use any active modules while cloaked. Certain modules will finish their current cycle when you cloak after activating them (like afterburners) while all those that require a lock on a target will immediately stop their cycle.

2.5km and they screw up your lock times and also, your basicly disabled for like 20 seconds while ur sensors recalibrate.
