For folks who dont know or dont usually care, one of the more spectacular things is beginning in Eve, the Great Galactic war. Alliance after alliance is declaring on each other in what is turning to thus far be a north vs south affair.
This means that over ~ 40% of eve players at any time are going to be in a war and chances are for those not involved, you can get front row seats at any of the hub systems or travel nodes throughout the galaxy within the high sec empires.
For those involved, its gonna be fun, for those watching, ship prices are about to go sky high :)
lets make this one memorable folks!

Probably where I am most of the time: In Curse.
But I still hope that I get an invite for this big party before it's over.
Think I should at least travel to empire tomorrow and see how it is going

has there ever been a world war in a mmo before? Anyways, this would probably be another record for eve-online - largest war ever in a single shard/peristent world

Still trying to figure out all the players, but it should be a good show.
Maybe EVE could provide statistics on their logon page.
EVE World War Casualty Statistics.
Another idea, how about allow corps to declare on each other for free? Make it a free for all!

I'll be praying that EVE works properly again (yes i know it's a problem with the internet routers across Europe or wherever) because tbh it fecking sucks that i've missed the first 3 days of this apparently EVE-wide war.
When i do get on, however, i'll be showering everyone with flowers and other pretty things
And kill things, ofcourse.

I'm going to be in my cheetah target jamming people for a cycle and running away during fleet battles. Then of course picking up the loot with the other good buddies who claimed it first.
