It was many a many day ago,
On a volcano by the North Sea,
That a company there lived whom you may know
By the name of C.C.P;--
And this company they lived with no other thought,
Than to serve and be pinged by me.
It was a game and I a gamer,
On a volcano by the North Sea,
But we played this game that was more than a game,
I and the C.C.P,
With a latency o naught', how could it be?
Who are to blame,
but me?
And this was the reason that, long ago,
On a volcano by the North Sea,
A connection ceased to be
Chilling my C.C.P;
So that the high-spiked ping came
And bore EvE away from me,
To lock it in a TomB of no reply,
On a volcano by the North Sea.
The fans, not half so happy on the forums,
Went crazy, yelling at C.C.P:--
Yes! that was the reason (as all gamers know,
On a volcano, by the North Sea)
That this latency came out of a cloud, chilling,
And killing my C.C.P
