I finally decided to go out and buy this game a couple weeks ago through peer pressure (damn you peer pressure!) and I've been having the time of my life (gaming wise) playing with corpmates and the random Jim and Bob on the internet taking off in transport choppers alone. I figure it's always more fun to kill those you've played with before.
So, I'm curious, if you play BF2, which innocient bulletshield are you?

I heard so many good things about it so i borrowed it from a friend to try it out. Single player mode got boring after 10 minutes and i can't even play multiplayer for some weird reason. "Connection timeout"

If we're talking graphics card wise, I run a 5200 FX...it looks rather...depressing compared to what the game could do though.

kiarodge is me on BF2
I generally only play on the KIA server too (being able to kick people to make room for myself rocks!)
Personally, I don't know how Reptar gets to play at all.
He seems to spend most of his time finding (and banning) people who try using hacks on our server!

I just got BF2 in the post - my FX5500 won't run it though - so im not even gonna install it yet.
Whats the best dual output NVidia card out there atm for sensible money. or even stupid money, as long as it kicks ass. It has to be dual output - i can't live with one screen anymore - using the PCs at Uni drives me nuts now...

Love the game, obsessed with special ops and chopper gunning here. Wasn't crazy about BF2 when it was first released due to bugs and various other issues, but the 1.03 patch has proven to be a remarkable improvement.
G36C and TV guided missiles FTW.

close down bf2 and restart should solve it i haveit sometimes , or teh server might be busy crashing :/

While "Crass Spektakel" isn't my main in EVE any longer I am still known this way within most other games.
Until now I have only seen very few EVE-Players in BF2, most notorably Ushra-Khan (or simply the Matari-Terrorists) and ATUK. While I am not officially in any clan I am around with some old buddies which played Quakeworld, Counterstrike (yuck, not me coz CS makes your wiener small), Quake3 (UT, Fortress, CTF) and BF42 for nearly ten years together so better expect some major gang-pwnage.
