Hmm is anyone else getting this? My EVE time is ahead of the real time, sometimes i have around 5 minute up to 30 minute difference with my computer clock.
This causes cap visual bugs, laggy warp outs and a whole bunch of ****..

just to name a few threads you could/should visit

The reason for the clock difference is twofold, can be because your motherboard is faulty and is sending too much voltage thru or something like that (explained in one of the threads above) or its just general windows incompetence which is also explained in one of the threads above.
and incase you missed the link

Clockmon is ****, I tried it before. It didn't sync often enough. I used to have problem with time sync on my computer clock, but now it's fine. It's Eve that is going too fast.
My computer is indeed overclocked and is rock stable, i don't see why voltage would affect the CLOCK in-game of EVE.
Timesync > clockmon

Edited by: Sicori Malaki on 20/10/2005 06:36:59 voltage affects the RTC, and you can change how often clockmon updates the time, currently I have it selected to update the time every 1 min. (was 30min by default !)
and it could be that eve gets the time information from the RTC and not the system clock, might be worth checking what your bios says the time is.
other than that, I cant help you ______________ Only in the Tales that humans tell, do the hunters kill the wolf in the end. |

Like i said, I never had problems with eve time going off balance with my computer clock. Ever since Cold war came out, bam.
I've grown tired of it and got used to seeing no cap changes with modules on. Lost 2 ships due to that crap, no big loss.
