These guides will be available at Loftkastalinn later this afternoon, but for those that are impatient, you can take a look at the FanFest Guide. Included in the Guide are schedules for the different events, extended information on the EVE Championships, a map, and much more.

oooh u guys listening - please provide pictures and text of speeches given at fanfest so those of us around the world who couldnt make it at least get some information about what is ahead etc (some pretty pictures will go well to :) Just downloading the file now for a quick squiz im an information hoarder - good work ouver and thanks

Don't hold your breath waiting for this to happen, tbh
compare:
"Q: Will the material from the fan fest be made available online for those people who cannot attend the Fanfest?
A: Yes, but at a much later date. This is a sneak peak for the attendees only."
and:
"Q: Will the Kali preview be made available online for those people who cannot attend the Fanfest?
A: Yes, but at a much later date. This is a sneak peak for the attendees only."
... that latter quote is from the 2004 Fanfest faq. As you can see, a year later there's still no sign of Kali preview for these who didn't take part in the previous gathering...

i was at last years but said no to this years after the crazy price hikes and from what a buddy is telling me who is there it looks like a good few did the same. maybe next year if the price is sensible i wont need to wait for the carrot dangling

Reykjavik being so fuggin' expensive is really putting a damper on my enjoyment value so far.
Plus it doesn't help that I'm Not Social(tm) by nature. Oh well. I have a half-liter of Brennevin to share tonight, at least I'm making an effort. Or trying to obtain friends through booze. :)

Iceland was not that exspensive but the price hikes flying from the UK over last year were retarded considering I had to pay for flights from Ireland First!!!
