Hey everyone, stupid question im sure but a friend of mine said there was a hybrid caldari battleship called the nightmare or w/e. And then he says well you cant find its info in the market so now they got me all thinking that there might be one but i been playing since 2003 and i know if there is a ship out there you can get it will be on the site and on the market, that and i cant find it on the site. SO im asking you guys if u have any idea what they are talking about and if you do send me a link.

The nightmare is not Caldari, its not hybrid platform
The nightmare is a faction ship, thus not on the market and judging by your knowledge proberbly will take you half a year just to get the money for it, if youa re luckey
It is a Sansha faction battleship, factions ships that you get from agent offers or bpc drops. It uses lasers, not hybrids, and its not like any of the empire ships, infact i think the CCP guy who designed it was drunk.

Not drunk! The nightmare is a lovely Battleship, I want one, but I'm also a fan of all sasha ships. I have the succubus (named Kamakazi Lab Mouse), am hoping to get the phantasm and nightmare eventually.
To the OP: Pirate faction ships (such as the nightmare) are usually a hybrid of two races, which may be what your friend meant. They are very skill intensive, very expensive, but very cool and often very powerful when fitted and used in a surprising way. Non Pirate faction ships such as the navy variants exist, but are indicative of thier race.
I am unaware if the caldari have a navy ship that is geared to be a rail platform or not. Check the market escrows and inspect any ship with a name you don't recognize with a price tage of 500mil or more. That's the best way to see what's out there.
