(a split off from the news: http://myeve.eve-online.com/news.asp?a=single&nid=924&tid=4)
With the core empire systems straining from traffic and local officials not being able to control the onslaught of empire migration between these systems, exterior empire alliances have taken it upon themselves to aid local officials. With warring factions/alliances such as NBSI, Stain Alliance, Stain Empire, The Forsaken Empire, The Five, The Phoenix Alliance and Veritas Immortalis all moving their fighting within empire regions. As well as Band of Brothers beginning their invasion of the lower empire region and G Alliance with the Imperial Republic of the North attacking Ascendant Frontier, One must wonder if these systems will be able to withstand the immense traffic that such combat situations bring.
Concord officials have been noted to comment that with the influx of sanctioned aggressions between so many factions at this time, the innocent bystanders have been falling prey continuously and Concord pilots are becoming overworked trying to regulate the hostilities. On the other hand local scavenger corporations have been gleaming with delight at the onslaught of such hostilities as their ôparts reclamationö process has become quite lucrative.
Though local officials are still attempting to lessen traffic in these already overflowing areas of operations, they are finding it more and more difficult as the larger industrial based corporations move in with the eye for profit on their minds. ôMarket sales are sky rocketing and weÆre sure going to get a piece of the action.ö A representative form a large scale industrial corporation can be quoted to say.
(Just thought it would be interesting)

What does that mean? Concord is about to cancel wars or something?
It is true that Concord never had such work so far as I can remember of, the new tranparent overview seems to lead to many 'innocents' shooting (which is always a good laugh on TS provided it doesn't happen to one of your friends, and even then... heh).
And of course, the usual lamers locking you trying to force a Concord response, which could be avoided with a single 'warning before shooting neutral targets' feature.

Edit: can we put this thread back on track without the need for correcting peoples grammar/spelling, only reason i did it was to digi because i thought its pretty lame to correct someones spelling in a game where many people who play do not have english as their first language. ---------------

Sorry, I was just trying to be funny here. Apologies if I have offended you.
Anyway, I think you are probably a little incorrect here.
it's == it is therefore, "... it is called..." otherwise gramatically it is incorrect because you can not have "... its called..."
its == to associate with ownership (e.g. noun/name) "The puppy is ill, its foot is swollen."
BTW, I am not an English native speaker nor teacher, it is just that I once made this silly mistake before, hence I have learnt. ----------------

Originally by: Kirin and Concord pilots are becoming overworked trying to regulate the hostilities.
Suggestion to CCP about how to continue this:
"Due to heavy workload concord decides to take their hand of selected regions and prioritize their efforts on the main empire routes where there are more innocents to protect. Unfortunately the result is that for a temporary time the all constellations listed below have had their security status adjusted down by -0.1.
<instert list of constellations>
In an interview with <instert name of high concord official> concord officially asked all the warring alliances to cease hostilities or at least moving their fleets out to 0.0 space. As soon as this happens Concord will resume normal operation."
What do you think?

The its/it's dilemma gets on my nerves too, as well as the lose/loose issue does. We can debate such things in the OOPE forum if you like.
Let's go back to the topic ok? ---

Good write up, Kirin. It's a shame that CCP will be concentrating on the FanFest this weekend cuz they really have dropped the ball on getting some REAL storyline and news going this week; though with the hardware upgrades and everything else it is a crying shame that the original "scope" was so shortlived, this would be an ideal time for its reincarnation.

You forgot to mention overzealous pilots shooting their targets before the war kicks in in and then getting owned by sentries.

Well for the last 2 days i would say that concord is very high on the kill list in Agil, at least 4 BS went down to sentries and police commanders in a couple of hours yesterday, and lots of smaller ships as well. The loot pickers were getting lots of action!
But then so did we

I sometimes wish I was a noob (or more noob than I am), and still in newbie corp in Jita. I bet a lot of new players can make a nice profit by just looting cans.

I'm trying not to think about the five ships I lost to Concord last night - the second and third were due to too much wine and an inability to do the flagging maths *ahem* but goddamn I wish there was a disable neutrals option in the overview - it would have saved me around 40mil isk
PS any kindly soul that was in Agil at the time and feels the urge to return my stuff can contact me ingame

SIGNED!
If I had one more sensor booster on my BS, I'd have died at least three times by now.
CCCP, FFS. New overview features. OMFG. How can you act as if there is no demand, when it is the most frequently asked-for feature in game?

True, but then CONCORD officials won't be left shaking with rage at having their sentries tanked by a cruiser.
