Admiral Freeman, as much as I admire the efficiency of the Guiding Hand, I suspect you'll find Ubiqua Seraph are far from wiped out. They've survived and actually prospered since the theft, which in some ways as just as impressive as the attack itself.

oh was that the corps name well it was and still is an inspirational piece of work and well i consider it a total anialation when a corp looses all of its assets and its best players go down and you have the ceo's corspe

They might've prospered since the theft, but imagine how much better off they'd have been if GHSC hadn't crushed t=hem so hard?

One thing that's always bothered me, and it could just be because I never read much on the GHSC scam and I'm simply uninformed, but did Istavaan even contribute that much? I thought it was another member of GHSC that did all the infiltrating and who eventually stole everything and blew up that Imperial Apoc. Istavaan was simply the guy who told the community because he was the CEO of GHSC.

A lot of it was Tall Tale. For example, he claimed how victrious he was against YF when YF hired merchs that obsoulty wipped the floor with his corp. Eventually they retracted the war and YF reformed after it was retracted into a new, less lame name he claimed to be victrious even though his corp was rolling around poor in t1 frigs and almost no memebers.
Eventually everyone did leave, but not without replacing the with alts that never undocked to make iskies for people while their mains went on to more fun things like PVP.

Having a blast fighting him I enjoy the fact that there is alot of PvP'ing going on instead of sneaking an alt into our corp. And hes definately out there contributing in this war currently, whether or not he contributed to the PC Gamer corp is anyones guess

Oh, Nero, to answer your question: Arenis certainly had one of the more difficult parts to play in the heist, but we all had our parts to play and if a single operative were taken out of the equation, the heist likely wouldn't have happened at all. I like to think my contribution was especially important ;)

My old mains old corp was mentioned in that article, Nemesis Corp Mr Shogaatsu, remember em? And you made ammargal give the only bs in the corp just so u would stop, and we n00bs ddint even want him to, we wanted to fight :) I believe you killed me once, the chars name was Rovian, and he was long since biomassed. Now im a bit better than i was then, but that was my first corp war, and you were the single name i remembered after it. Dunno why. Boy was i shocked when i saw your name, and the old corp name in PCG.

Yeah your merc alliance which "utterly wiped the floor with us" totally broke us, we're all penniless and reduced to t1 frigs, indeed I couldn't even afford new clones after losing 83 ravens so I quit eve forever.
I don't think the Guiding Hand will ever recover from how utterly the you raped us in that war.
</sarcasm>
Seriously though. Your mercs lost alot more than they killed, almost all of their "significant" kills were me in suicidal raven mode attacking them in Reblier where they never failed to vastly outnumber us, they still lost more than they killed, as to us being "penniless" as a result; their loot + your loot + our billions - a few disposable ships != penniless.
Your disbanding your corporation due to us preventing anyone from doing anything that required undocking in something bigger than a shuttle does in our opinion constitute a victory. We weren't hired to grief you out of the game after all, our target was YF, and our mission was a success.
OK, enough wasted time typing, felt like ranting.

Uh, Dionysus, wiped the floor with us?
If you'd like to discuss how the mercs supposedly wiped the floor with us, I'd enjoy hearing from ClanKillers and company regarding their thoughts on our fighting ability. God knows they faced us more than YF did, and gave us the best fights of that war. Or, perhaps, we could discuss how the very people you hired weren't very pleased with working for YF because all you did was talk a lot of crap from behind them.
Pls, cease with the baseless accusations of failure on our part. We will always admit being defeated, or failing in a contract, and we came nowhere close to either during our YF campaign.

Sigma,
and ah, I always like a good heart-warming story, no doubt.
Still, it's double-take time: Here's THE guy most likely to scam you out of your ship. Heck, he's gonna talk you out of ALL your possessions, and you'll think you're doing yourself a favour.
Actually if he puts his mind to it he could probably make *YOU* scam people for him! I certainly felt a certain temptation there a minute ago.
And you take his words for bare truth?
Still, blazing good tale! I always love a good story with a couple great villains.
By the way, I don't really think it's safe to reply to this thread so expect an edit real soon

A couple months after the heist went down, I was contacted in-game by Tom Francis of PC Gamer UK, with a series of questions regarding the heist. Never one to pass up a chance for potential fame, I answered his questions to the best of my ability. The PC Gamer folks were nice enough to send various GH-SC members a few copies of the September issue magazine free of charge when it came out, for which I cannot thank them enough.
The rest, as they say, is history.

Ok regarding the CK vs GHSC wars.
First off, there were many good fights between GHSC and CK. Mostly smack free. Best fights I had in long time were against them.
As far as who mopped the floor with who is not really important. I do remember CK winning most of the fights. We did have quite the superior force over theirs. But they also got in some great kills.
But nonetheless, we had a contract against them, which we upheld our side. So the long term war was never fought to the end. I wouldn't say we completely anhillated them. They were very good enemies and both sides did take losses.
The best fight we had was the Battle of Tourier in which even numbered and ship class fleets engaged in heavy combat which lasted quite a long time. GHSC took more losses, due to our intel and correct fitting for a counter attack. But we lost some too. Was awesome and I wish I had the fraps of it.
Since the contract was not continued, both corps could not fight it out to the end to see total defeat. A simple contract was made, and the contract was finished with good results.

I still don't get how some purple haired clown can gather such a following by bending truth and writing up loads of crap wrapped in annoying prose. Then again, looking at all the spew in the local channels and in alliance chat (of those I've been in), I'm not exactly surprised either. Ah well...

Anyway, I don't really get the post, Jenna. I shouldn't be taken seriously because five years ago I did silly stuff with my hair and put pictures of it on the internet? I'm not rightly sure how seriously gamers should be taking one another in the first place, but I guess it's plenty serious if you're taking the time to comment with such anger.
Anyway, here's some more hilariously embarassing pictures of yours truly for you to mock and deride. Two include crazy clown hair, and one even has me in women's clothing - this should provide you ample ammo for future attacks against me for another two years, easy ;)

Originally by: Shaelin Corpius Ok regarding the CK vs GHSC wars.
First off, there were many good fights between GHSC and CK. Mostly smack free. Best fights I had in long time were against them.
Likewise. I believe it is fair of you to say you had lived up to your contract which consisted of declaring upon the guiding hand and waging a war for a limited period of time, which had elapsed. This whole argument arose out of whether or not we had successfuly claimed Yulai Financial - your patron during the said war, whom you technically weren't even hired to defend. Considering that our war against yulai financial continued and they eventually disbanded (only to reform at a later point under the goonfleet banner, it seems), it is also fair on our end to tally them up to our list of successfuly completed contracts.
Anyhow, it was all good times (at one point I shot down k33l3m's shuttle and pod with a 280mmII cheetah :P) and a good lesson for us in dealing with multiple declarations. The game has changed much since and so have we, both in abilities and tactics. There really didn't seem to be that much to argue over.

hahaha the dress one was funny. and you can bet that dress on that they will try and mount future attacks against you with it. its just sad that some ppl actually think that eve is their life so they take it way to serious. i dont think that them pulling up these types of insults actually are going to do anything but make you giggle and laugh every time.
