After "downloading launcher update" standalone window, Update Setup reopens, with "Error opening file for writing: ----/EVE/launcher/launcher.exe"
I checked for read-only, the hard drive is fine.
Later, a runtime error: R6034 "An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly." This was thrown by D:\CCP\EVE\launcher\launcher.exe. |

my launcher won't even update, it just says loading launcher update on the bottom left and the loading bar is gray. i tried to click play but it does nothing |

I had the same issue with the launcher getting stuck with the message 'loading launcher update'. I went the the SISI client folder and deleted the launcher folder and replaced it with the launcher.old folder. When I ran the client again, the new laucher was downloaded and installed. I ran the client again with the sisi command line and it was a version with version number 2.1.541297 (without the beta tag). Now it is updating the SiSi client with a 16.57 MB patch. |
