Why are those minerals so cheap. They dropped almost half in price. |

First of all, those aren't minerals, they're Ore. Second of all, It's time to move to a different region. I buy and sell daily in two different regions and prices have only dropped about 10% in the last month.

Edited by: Jennai on 22/10/2005 14:17:06 trit/pyer used to be really expensive, now they're not. at current oursulaert buy prices, refined scordite and pyrox are worth ~80isk/m3, veldspar and plagio ~65, omber and kernite ~140, and everything else is worth less than that until you get to 0.0 ores.

Macrominers. Supply skyrockets driving demand down. This is why empire ores are so cheap compared to 4-5 months ago.

In the case of trit, I don't think macrominers had much to do with it. I don't see trit ever going up tbh, unless something radically changes...

I have access to all market data. Believe me, we have not reached anything close to deflation yet.

The tritanium crash definately had nothing to do with macro miners.
It had everything to do with certain new refinable NPC items being sold at prices that drove the value of trit into the basement.

I think alot of it has to do with the massive influx of new players to the game.
I obviously have no evidence to this it's just opinion. But look at the number of people logged in every day compared to 3 months ago. Most of those new players spend their first couple of months in game mining to make isk. As they get into game a bit they get better ships and mine more but still arent loosing ships as fast typically. Later on if the influx slows down they will do more pvp and less mining and the price will go up or they will be mining higher end mins and less veld scord and the price of them will drop and veld will go up.

Incorrect. If supply increases, the price point goes down for a fixed demand. In this case, either the price will stay down or the demand will go up. It's a mix of both at the moment, from what I've seen, and am doing.
Demand is squarely on the producers, though -- time to buy trit and build more while it's cheap. ----------------------------------
Industrialist. I build it. You buy it. You break it and buy another one. Market domination through ingue ferrogue. (I did this and could have stopped it.) |
