I would some advice on which fighter skills to get next and in what order to train them. My goal is to:
1. Make ISK off of combat missions and work my way up the agent ladder. 2. Save and acquire skills/ISK for a Cruiser so that I can handle up to level 3 missions
I cannot decide whether to do this in Amarr or Gallente ships. The no ammo savings is very appealing with Amarr, but I would have to train Amarr Frigate to 4 and change the fighter skills somewhat, I assume?
*Can someone please list the skills and their priorities for Amarr or Gallente? If this is too much of a chore, then please offer some general advice on getting up to speed. Thank you!
--------------------------------------------------------Currently Race: Gallente Bloodline: Intaki Current Attributes: Int 9, Per 8, Cha 8, Will 8, Mem 9
Electronic Warfare 1 Electronics 1
Gunnery 1 Small Hybrid Turret 1
Mining 1
Leadership 2
Analytical Mind 1 Instant Recall 1 Iron Will 1 Learning 1
Gallente Frigate 4 Spaceship Command 2

firstly, i'd REALLY recommend you get your learning skills up before any of this, since they make your skills train faster.
Amarr (typically) armor tank and use lots of cap, so cap skills are important. Controlled Bursts is a gunnery skill you'll probably want. Gallente (typically) armor tank and use drones.
I really don't notice much isk spent on ammo flying gallente. however, you WILL NOTICE A DIFFERENCE when you train your learning skills. I'd reallllly suggest you try to get those up. That said, don't spend a month docked doing nothing, definatly train up the other 'fun' skills.

Edited by: Robotek Hybrid on 22/10/2005 17:44:33 Amarr are good but their damage type isnt good against everything. go gallante and train for an assault frig like an ishkur if you wanna do agent missions for caldari navy. Then after you have the skills you want to chain lvl 3 missions well enough thats when you should look at learning skills.
edit: forgot the skills :P
gallante frig lvl 5 assault frig lvl 1-3 drone skills the engineering skills that concern energy usage to lvl 4 and then the mechanic skills to 4 maybe nav skills the skill thtat lets you use nos. And ofc work on gunner to lvl 3 maybe? but if you are gonna fly an ishkur gunnery wont matter as much b/c drones will be the primary weapons.

Thank you for the advice.
I do want to get the learning skills up, but I do not really have the skills necessary to run missions to make an income while this is happening. That is why I was wondering about which skills to learn first.

For some of the level 3 missions, you will struggle in a cruiser, or take ages doing them. Black Market hub comes to mind. My suggestion would be to cultivate several agents, so you can reject missions that are too hard without any standing penalty. I also suggest looking at the missions forum.
Just my 0.02 isk.

Rubbish. The retribution can tank and do a lot of dmg.

cruiser 3 or 4 small hybrid/energy turrets 4, rest of gunnery to 2-3
energy management 4 energy systems operation 4 engineering 4
mechanic 4 repair systems 4 hull upgrades 4
drones to 4 at least, get 5 and drone interfacing 3 if you plan on flying vexor or thorax
electronics 4 propulsion jamming 1
afterburner 1 navigation 1
With these skills you should be able to do lvl 2 missions in a plated maller/thorax with small guns without any problems.

Dont bother trying lvl 3s in a cruiser. You cant do most of them and those you can reuire high skills all around.
