Black Legion and company clash with CFC in Venal. Supers and dreads are killed. Interviews and the story of how it all went down can be found on this article on TMC.

I applaud your writing and enjoyed the article, however it seems that the way it was written is sided with the aggressors as being the victors. While yes they "won" by efficiency, losing half a capital fleet for a couple supers doesnt seem reasonable. Sure it's a titan kill, but how useful is a single titan vs the effect on the mobilziation of a dread fleet now half dead? Great fights either way, jealous I didn't get to play.
Cheers, Kainos Kainos Kerensky "Oh, you think null sec is your ally?-á But you merely adopted adopted nullsec; I was born in it, molded by it.-á I didn't see the light of high sec until I-áwas already a man, by then it was nothing to me but blinding!" |

Cheers, Kainos I do my best to not be bias, but from time to time I am not successful. The other issue I faced was lack of time to write it due to a RL emergency and trying to get it out in time to make today's publication. Still there is the debate on who came out ahead, but these things can be entirely based on points of view.

yes, i wonder which side won
the one that traded 40 insured dreads for 2 supercarriers, a titan and a pile of capitals or the one that lost a titan, two supercarriers and a pile of capitals to kill 40 insured dreads
that is a toughy
great article anyway, sorry about your neighbor's dog (tell us the story) mine quotes from my posts at your peril, badposters

Cheers, Kainos
Mobilization of dreads after losing dreads is only viewed as a problem by alliances that cant readily and easily replace caps. Bottlenecking supply in such a critical area such as dreads causes the deaths of alliances. Many alliances have a ton of backups in hangers |

Khirzan,
You are correct but we of course have no certainty in knowing the level of preparedness in the reserves. My point was the ambiguity and that its hard to tell who was actually hit harder. Whats to say that theres not a new titan finishing building to replace the lost? Thats a great aspect of Eve, the "sandbox" as much as I hate that CCP reference haha. considering we dropped goons again the next day with new and surviving dreads I say we're doing pretty well. GÇ£We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, while others bright, some have weird names, but they all have learned to live together in the same box.GÇ¥- Special needs division of Fcon. |
