Hi
I tested the new scanner interface panel and found it completely inconvenient and nonfunctional in comparison with old.
Look the picture:

I don't see any advantages of the new panel and I ask you to keep the old at least as option, only add new formations buttons.
Other wishes:
Option for disable flashing systm info after jump, flashing current action indicator and other stupid flashes.
Option for disable any auto-approaching when jumping, opening container, ets.
Fix grid allocation bugs;
Fix overwiev state filter;
Return old (square) targets as option;
Process bugreports 152207, 151735, 143068. I waiting from january! |

You're right, of course.
But I would prefer to see an improved version of the new window, rather than a rollback.

A fair number of the complaints regarding the window seem to have been addressed already. Not all of them, of course.
Though, if you're misclicking on the bright yellow "Show" text that's nowhere near any other functions, I'm not quite sure what to tell you. |

What surprises me is that developpers can actually create something like this, release it on sisi, and kind of expect it to be a good feature.
I mean, it's non-ergonomic, full of bugs, unintuitive, unreadable... Any player toying with the old and the new version for five minuts each is able to say the same.
No offense for the developpers because I'm sure there has been some kind of pressure / bad management / consigns to follow...
But yeah, I'm... fascinated...

This should really be fleshed out to the last detail in a design document before the coding even begins. The way it seems to work at CCP is throw some stuff together by rule of thumb then try and tack on some improvements as a afterthought if too many people complain. |

Slowly, but surely, the eve client is becoming unsuited for the 768p screens. Those of us still trying to play in 1 to 2 yr old laptops will soon have trouble with the interface... |
