I think it would have been over 17k by now but the lag is so bad in hubs many are logging, 10 minutes to undock is a little excessive i feel.

That is incredible growth considering the last major content expansion was in July.

normally, when the 'players online' goes up and up, people start screaming at other people to log on their alts. This made me think, that perhaps there are only 16 people playing, but with hundreds of accounts....
There's probably next to no-one playing, we're all alts.
