The launcher is displaying "OFFLINE MODE You are seeing this because no connection could be made to the content server or something went wrong while loading the online content."
My internet is working fine, 20ms ping with 0% packet loss. Is TQ down or is this a launcher bug?
Also, the eve forums are barely functional for me as well. I could only load this page after 4 previous time outs, is this being experienced by anyone else as well? |

Same here, alt account logged in no problem on one computer, the other one is:
'You are seeing this because no connection could be made to the content server or something went wrong while loading the online content.'
which is wonderful because I cant 'restart the launcher' because EVEonline.exe wont close without restarting my PC everytime.
Anyone at CCP actually noting how many problems people are having with the new EVE launcher??? Why once again fix things that were working fine.... and then they don't work fine anymore... its very frustrating for us players. |

Tried the work around and it worked for a while, but then got disconnected tried it again but this time once I hit the eve.exe it just loaded the launcher.
I got logged in but it has completely reset my ui set up, and also wiped my overview settings, |

I have the same problem, tried everything I could find on the forums to fix this and ended uninstalling and reinstalling to have the same problem again!
I have resulted to running eve from the ExeFile.exe in the bin folder so if your still getting this problem try that.
Thanks CCP, you really handle these problems well when you break things. I can understand why your changing the launcher but perhaps more testing would have been better first. It looks like a lot of people have had a lot of different problems with the new launcher which could have been avoided!
I except things go wrong but when you have a problem like this you need to make a clear way for people to find the information and fix the issue so they can at least play the game they pay to play! I've spent hours on this now trying different fixes and non of the dev posts helped me at all.
And yes I submitted a petition with log files that hasn't even been replied too! so get your s#*t together and post something on people's account page's with some help on how to fix this! or an email maybe?
I've noticed 50k sp have appeared on my characters, if that's as a "sorry we broke the launcher" funny! hey we've screwed the game up so you can't play it but have some free skill points..... FFS show people how to fix it first. I didn't play on any of my 4 accounts for 2 days but in the mean time installed a couple of new games, this is how you will loose people if your not careful.
Sorry for the rant but you need a better way to help people when things go wrong!

I'm having that problem dor days and the solutions you show above dont work for me: "Eve Online Launcher - Offline Mode, can't connect to server"
When i try to run the game from the BIN/ExeFile it forces a patch and after taht give me the same error. When o try to run ExeFile, it forces the patch again, time after time...
I can log to the game in the desktop computer, in wish i cant play, i can just set skills.
In this computer (where i play), i'm having that problem.
HELP PLEASE!

There is a way you can lunch without out the luncher but I'm still getting a problem with trying to log in.
1. Go to program files
2.CCP
3.EVE
4.Bin
5. hit exefile

Doesn't work, it won't let you log in that way either. For me at least. |

Managed to start the launcher, but when I log in and click play, it tells me the server is offline once the client actually starts. the exefile still doesn't work either. |

I have personally fixed this for myself by reinstalling. Might have something to do with firewall settings and the launcher update though I couldn't get the previous install fixed with firewall tweaks so that may not be it. Still, it's a thought. Reinstall works though. |

I fixed the problem.
What i did was to fix this was I opened up the porst (26000 and 3724)
Then I lunched it using the exe. as I explained earlyer.
C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\bin
(exefile)
Any other (???) just ask |
