Just thought some ppl would get a kick out of this.
On sunday I ran into poxie, with his -4.4 sec status trying to dock in orvolle. I locked him up in hopes of him shooting me so that I could attack him with no penalty. After about 15 seconds of this I figured he wasn't going for it but noticed that I had closed to optimal firining range for all my weapons.
A quick info request on his char told me he had 877k isk reward. Well being in a battleship I figured, what the hell. I deployed 8 hvy drones and I open fired.
6 Weapons unleashed on Poxie's poor thorax along with 8 hvy drones tearing it apart in 2 bursts, roughly 6 seconds. At this point police and the station turrets were very upset with me and I was watching my shields disappear.
I started the target lock on his pod, as the point of this whole thing was to nail his pod, and waited patiently as more police showed up. Finally the lock came and again all my weapons fired on the poor little pod. Boom!!
Now I needed to get into the station so the cops wouldn't kill me. I kicked on my mwd and headed in, the cops were now eating away at my armor and my ship seemed to be bouncing off parts of the station taking it's sweet time to get into docking range, as fate would have it the bouncing moved me within 1700k of the cargo container left by his ship, as ppl were around watchign and wondering what was going on i was very eager to clean out the can before someoen else got to it. But being just a few meters too far i couldn't get it. After about 50% of my armour was gone my ship finally got into docking range and docked safely. 877k in the bank :). And the satisfaction of knowing poxie would be buying a new clone, new ships and some new weapons.
After some time passed and I could procede out again I came to find that the cargo he'd left was nothign but store bought crap. Thanx for nothign. An assortment of light drones, some ammo, 3 hvy ion blasters, and a med shield booster. Not one rare thing!

yea..i have to admit it striker...you are good..i love how you run when there is a challenge..you might rememberme from before then. A couple m0o guys and I were blockading in pf-246 and sriker comes thru and decides to run away like the little girl she is. I want to see how you do in a fair fight since i had just gone to pick some stuff up and nothing was equipped. Plus im in a cruiser i want to see you take a battleship 1v1 punk. Also i was carrying no drones and I guess all my good stuff got destroyed because i had some linear flux 2's in my cargo along with a cold gas arcjet and another pirate shield booster so too bad for you. I love to read posts like this...you go on saying how good you pirate hunting scum are when you would never be able to win in a fair fight. Like i said before you bounty hunters make me want to spit...you are a disgrace to eve and should be shot in the knee caps and left to bleed to death.

also...i was unable to dock due to a bug...i just sat there while it said docking request accepted while you continued to pound on me. I asked the gm about it and he said that it was a rare bug and that nothing could be done because the log did not display any anomilies of that nature. So cheers to you again striker on a job well done. Attacking an unarmed cruiser in a battleship while im unable to dock. I love it...i recommend you eat me...and cut the crap.

THERE IS NO FAIR FIGHTs in eve!!
Only way to do that would set a venue, alowed load out and a frigging referee...
And everybody runs! Ive yet to see 1 post telling the tale of the brave lone (insert pirate/carebar char here) stand his ground.
Outnumbered ? run Forrest run. Live to fight anotherday, read Tsun Tzu ffs :P

I find it funny to read a pirate's post *****ing about a pirate hunter not giving them a fair fight. Like pirates ever go for fair fights themselves. I see all you guys running with your tails tucked the second a force a little bigger than yours shows up, so it's not like you've got any rights for *****ing about people nailing you when they've got a better ship/loadout.

If you're putting around in a shuttle and get nailed by 5 rats in battleships you got owned. Don't cry about it. Go get your friends, get some bigger ships, and get payback or shut the hell up.
Apparently no one ever get's blown up because they were STUPID, it's always because someone else gave them a bad turn.

You guys are morons, I couldn't care less about 'fair fights' since really very rarey do you get battles with 'fairness' in eve. What I don't like is Silver Strikers big mouth and tendancy to brag about killing a pathetic lone cruiser while he runs away from us 99.99999999999999% of the time.
So yes bragging about killing a cruiser is lame, sorry!

I myself have run into Poxie...
And found his tactics interesting...
Skull and he were camping a station....and goading others into fights...
Some people were foolish enough to fire at them, triggering the sentry guns...
I myself, did not...
Is it fair to hide behind Concord? Absolutely
Is it honorable? No
He's a pirate....you expect honor? Puleeze
Expect a fair fight? Yeah, ok... Pirates use numbers to their advantages...higher numbers in skills,higher amounts in wallets, and multiple ships with which to crush us. Don't wait for "fair", that's not what EVE is about..EVE is about what WE as players have the creativity to achieve within the framework setdown for us.
Get over it about pirates already....move on.

no, the core of the issue is that Silver Striker did the same thing to a pirate that pirates do to everyone else, except apparent;y this particular pirate can't take what he dishes.
