you misunderstand, aur represents taking things from the hands of players/player industry and conjouring up magical goodies from the land of rmt.
also aur implies a certain artifical baseline to any prices ingame which are totally out of keeping with the whole premise of the eve market system.
i dont mind this sort of thing in some games, but its completely at odds with the entire ethos of what makes eve great.
anyway im not hear to debate eve-meta politics. im here to give support to an awesome pally model and also the ability to make my corp's ships have lovely custom paint jobs :)

eom ships should use gal/ammar skills and should have a bonus to armor and rails...
i think it would be cool if the bonus was something like this:
role bonus:
50% increase in optimal range of large hybrid turrets
gal bs bonus:
7.5% to large hybrid turret rate of fire per level
ammar bs bonus:
4% to armour resistance per level.

I agree with you when it comes to functional items, but I don't feel magicing up vanity items is objectionable, or shuffling around ISK for them, as long as they never actually do anything
You say you don't want to argue it, and so this'll be the last I say on it as well. Hopefully the skins will end up on our ships one way or another |

Yes.
The Kronos already has a unique model, as does the Vargur. The Paladin has been confirmed to get a unique model, so the only one missing out of the bunch right now is the Golem. And they said they were going to get back to it soonish. |

The impression I got was that the Paladin model was supposed to be finished for Odyssey, or at least for a point release.
I could be wrong though. We're still about a week and three days away from the planned release date, chances are if they intend to finish it for Odyssey the model is already complete, just hasn't yet been pushed to Singularity.

because I wanted confirmation that it's not the shaders that make the colors look bad but but devs. It's the devs that are washing out the colors and not the shaders. the pali actually looks good to me, the colors are nice and vibrant; not dull and washed out looking so we will see how the final colors turn out
For fun, I asked the wife what the colors were on the new pali and she stated khaki and brown |

EOM use shield tanks and mostly hybrids(railguns, most commonly), and I think have their own skins?
I think they'd be a pretty good candidate for a gal/amarr pirate faction.

Never looked deeper into them or the tank type they use, so I could be wrong, but them being an amarr/gal faction pirate ship, it wouldn't make sense to be shield tanked. Since Amarr & Gallente are known armor tankers.
Maybe as NPCs they can shield, but if they ever became a player available pirate ship, it would certainly have to be tweaked into armor. |

The original hull was well proportioned and elegant, qualities rare in amarr hulls (considering the revelation, abaddon, prophecy...)
What apparently has people exited are the new textures and shaders, things which have nothing to do with the actual new model, which has all the appeal of a toaster.
It has just grown fatter and now sports some kind of angry bird dolphin frown.

I've yet to want to fly a ship based solely on looks.
This opinion has changed with the EOM Apoc. Should that variant be released for flying, I will be getting into it with great haste.
